There has been a recent phenominon taking place in my neck of the woods. Tickets go on sale for a band or a festival, and fifteen minutes later they're all gone. while i'm happy to see that amount of cash (more often than not over 100 AU) being thrown into an artist, I think things are a little bit out of control.
I personally blame the internet and the invention of eBay for screwing over the REAL music fans who go out and camp in front of the box office. Ticket prices are already very expensive, and if you add "scalper's fees" to that it's rediculous. Tell me, have you ever missed out on a concert? have you ever manned up and camped out in the rain for your tickets? Share your stories!
