EDIT:Solved!! thanks to Escapist Community and Persistence. For legal reasons (if there are any...) I won't name from who i got the file.

Hi, 8D.
Anyone who has windows 7 32-bit, preferably home premium.
Can you send me a copy of your "explorer.exe" file, located in C:\Windows?
You may have to zip it.
Its hard to find online, near impossible.
Please? Oh pretty Please?
Going slightly mad.

Edit: I've already deleted the file... long story?
It was corrupted. I got a friend to send me a copy. The copy was
64-bit. Now I no longer have the file.

I am using the task manager to run my programs
*Sigh* why is it illegal? All I need is 1 file.
On a side note, I've already passed the denial-anger- and am not soon going to hit the depression stage....

1.How are you posting?
2.This is illegal.
3.Have a nice day :D
1. Why would a web browser need explorer?
2. Why is it illegal? If he owns a license for Windows I'm sure he's allowed windows files.
3. Hope that means me as well. :D

OT: I'm on XP or I'd hand it over.

*Sigh*
Why is this trolling? I am just asking for help from a community whihc has previously been able
to help me. + A community which actually answers posts quickly.

Why can't you either use system restore or put in the windows disk and repair?

Sorry I'm on vista so I can't help

Try a request site such as:

Warning this is a 4chan site, adverts are very NSFW and do not click on /b/
Sure you still want it?
Hope the mods don't yell at me for this
*sigh* I guess I can't convince you
Honestly it sounds like you obtained this illegally if so then don't bother, they won't help you
http://boards.4chan.org/r/ I warned you

How do you want the file sent to you?
I have it, and I can give it you you in a .rar file, however, I better not get in crap for any reason (some sort of forum rule I'm unaware of?). I don't see how I would be doing anything wrong, but, who knows, I've unknowingly gotten in shit before D:.

Anyway, yeah, I'll help, but I better not be subject to any negative repercussions for trying to do someone a favor :|

I'd help, but I'm pretty sure mine's the 64-bit version. Is there anyway I can somehow extrapolate the 32-bit version? If not, sorry!

Broady Brio,
The file is marke as a virus, so my computer refuses to run it. :p
If you have a valid Windows license, you can ask for support to Microsoft.

If you don't have a valid license, simply don't tell.

i can't get to my license. It's hidden somwhere in the controlpanel, and I don't know the command line for it.

If you have a license it will be on a sticker either in the Windows 7 case OR located somewhere on your computer (Anywhere on a tower or on the bottom of a laptop)

If you don't have that sticker then any version of windows you have on your computer is illegal
