Vaguely something old funk/soul poured into a trip hop blender

is this the non-evil universe version of BB?

The haunting sound of your shadow selves

Somehow missed putting this in the sevdaliza post

Brain keeps recalling this name as El Paso Elsewhere for some dumb reason lol

Have noticed some playlist albums have stealth bullshit tracks inserted occasionally. They tend to look like some royalty free nonsense so am confused as to who's expecting money out of this arrangement. Maybe there's a fierce hierarchy even in royalty free music composition where some artists have to play the algorithm game of deceit too?

got unshakable respect for artists keeping chill while maintaining precision drum compositions

Well bloody hell. You know that moment when you discover something new about an old song?

I never realized the Bulls intro was from the extended version of this decidedly soft rock tune I remember hearing as a kid. It’s literally like two different songs. Holy shit.

First heard this song years ago, and fell in love with the melancholy and despair. I finally looked up the lyrics (you can't really understand most of them in the song,) and fell even deeper in love.

Die for now, the end
Powers of love
Falls off the edge, falls out young
Falls off the edge, falls off love
As dark comes at night
We fall with somebody else

Die for now, the end
Powers of love
Falls off the edge, falls out young
Falls off the edge, falls off love
As dark comes at night
We fall with somebody else

As winter takes me now
Of cold and clammy skin
A barren empty womb
As I am born again
It's pulling at my hair
And crawling all within
A gentle beating heart
Is swept away by sin

Die for now, the end
Powers of love
Falls off the edge, falls out young
Falls off the edge, falls off love
As dark comes at night
We fall with somebody else

The monster in your head
Won't surface again
Be still my child
Wash away the sin
And I as future kings
Walk off the edge
Hold me by my name
Hold me 'til the end
