I'd go to the E.R but well that's already been said. However it sounds kinda expensive. I'm glad that we have free healthcare here in the U.K. I can't believe there's people in your country that are against it. If you was over here, they'd have had a look at you and try to fix you (Results may vary depending on the hospital). Maybe you could buy a Dummies guide book and check it out for your self...

About 4 days ago I started having really bad chest pains on the right side of my body. It hurts from my neck to about 2/3s of my stomach. I've been having a hard time breathing and it's like a constant pressure that sometimes gets worse (like a stabbing pain) when I breathe or cough or even really just move.
I've had pneumonia that was like that, but then you'd have fever as well, so it's prolly not that (or other infections).
Can be anything really. A broken or busted rib, a punctured lung, a trapped nerve, pulled muscles, Alien spawn etc...

I've already set up a doctor's appt but I have to wait for another 15 days before they can see me. Should I just wait till my scheduled appt or should I go see an ER Dr?
Your doc sucks. No other doctors available? No school nurses nearby? Nobody with medical training?
Even just 5 mins should be enough for someone trained to say if you need immediate check-up, or if it something minor that can wait.

man when did this forum turn into webmd?

Well it has signs and symptoms of CHF, stroke, Heart attack from the text description, However other things would need to be considered. Factors such as age, weight, habits like drinking and smoking.

It could as well be emphysema or bronchitis if smokings involved.

Given that its been going on for 4 days and youve not turned blue or dropped dead yet, Im guessing its something a little less severe. So perhaps you should look at an inbetween route and locate a local urgent care office. Less expensive than an ER, has longer hours than a doctors office and usually able to handle walkins.

Im no doctor, but I do have a minor background in EMS, to which separating and prioritizing cases was a required skill. Get the best care, as soon as possible, but look at the facts and dont overreact.
Excuse me? Please explain how an ER is expensive.
Here's how it works here, They will send you 3 seperate (if not more) bills that include a walk in fee of $175, plus the fee of the Dr them self, and another bill for whatever tests that they decide to take (IE bloodwork, x-ray, ect) Even for an ambulance to pick you up is $300 (paid to the city). Then, if you have a prescription given, that's a pharmacy bill.

Also, if you don't have any kind of insurance you get piss-poor service. Money may not be worth dying for but they'll let you die for not having it...
