Well I had a bottle of coke thrown at me while a kid yelled "you suck dick you homo!" which to me seemed less of an insult and more of just stating the obvious.

God kids today can't come up with insults, its really quite amusing. You'd think they would get some good insults down now that theres all this new fangled learning technology in schools.

Hmm... I don't think I've ever been yelled at by a stranger for no apparent reason, but once on school trip some Americans posed next to me and took a picture without asking; so hopefully it wasn't for a nasty reason. Either way, I might be famous somewhere on the Internet.

Sorry, we sorta do that, its interesting to see how people visiting look.

I think the weirdest thing that I ever got yelled at was Cock Head. While waiting for the bus.

I had a snowball thrown at my from a moving car.... in July. Now I know, since I live here, that Scotland isn't the warmest country in the world, but that's a bit extreme.
Anyway, they missed by a meter or more and sped off over the hill.

Oh, I can top that. When I was thirteen, me and my friend were standing in the courtyard during winter, eating our lunch and chatting. Some of the gob-shites from the year below come around and start hurling snowballs at us for about ten minutes. Why did we we let this go on for ten minutes, you may be wondering? This is because we were able to stand there, occasionally sway or sidestep and none of them were able to hit us. I hope to got none of them ever pursue a military career. They'll probably somehow shoot themselves in the foot while aiming upwards, or something...

But yeah. Kids, and a large portion of teenagers suck. In the words of Bender Bending Rodriguez, "If you want children beaten, you have to do it yourself."

Pretty much just the racial ones. Ages ago I was with my brother and we were walking into town when a two guys in a car shouted out a racial slur and also when I was heading back to my flat (apartment), I walked past two chad kids who made some racial comments and gestures (I'm not suprise at this).
Oh also one time I was at the escalator going up when there were bunch of kids going down on the oppersite side. One of them tap my arm and claim I was some pedo mention in crimewatch (he didn't acted serious if you think he was genuine with it). So overall, some people are just plain dicks.

I'd have just done a completely blank expression, and said "nah, you're mistaken. I wasn't the pedo. I was the guy who beat some teenage douchebag to death with a tire iron for being an arrogant wanker." followed by an unnerving eye twitch, and just walk off.

Yeah, a lot of high school brats (all male) like to yell at me from their daddy's really expensive sports car before speeding off thinking that they're tough shit. The most common insult I got was also "fat ass", and I will agree that I am of a larger size, but I'm not obese. I was very athletic in high school, I'm just not skinny.

Stupid shit like this usually hurts at first and your self-esteem takes a blow, but in the end, I like to think that those kids are going to be the next whiners in the unemployment line that can't find a job because they were too busy being bullies and trying to be "cool" instead of paying attention in class. Bonus points if the business owners who are hiring are former victims of said bullies.

That's kinda why people telling me that kind of stuff never really bothered me. But when they say homo or gay I'm just like "Not quite." ^-^

I have a whole host of replies to nonsensical homophobic insults. For pretty much everything they can say, I can come right back with my own.

OT: I've had people I don't know yell "I love you!" at me, which is awkward. Also some jocks yelling "Deez nuts!". I don't get it. >.<

"Deez nuts!"... the fuck does that mean? I miss the days when insults were actually... insulting, it seems like most people just like making them confusing nowadays.

And yeah, having people shout that they love you is fucking weird.

Yeah people who do that, I hope they end up in a car crash with a lorry loaded with long metal pipes, two of thier mates get impaled by the pipes whilst blood spurts over the driver and the crumpled engine mass splinters into his dick, making his twat of a girlfriend leave him and then he hangs himself. Yeah I hate people who do that, then again their scum and usually don't get anywhere in life. Still want them to die a horrible and painful death though, preferably if I could see it happen whilst I eat popcorn and laugh at them and not bother ringing emergency services.

Had that happen to me once, some kids in a car yelled something out and I didn't quite hear all of it but I heard the term ******... unluckily for them something happened to their car about 20 metres down the road, I walked up to them and asked them to repeat what they said. They couldn't look me in the face and repeat a single thing of what they said. (They were 2 smug teenagers that looked like twigs, pfft)

In short: People in cars are dicks because they think they can just drive off and you can't do anything about it.

I was walking home from school today as I need the exercise. About half way home a car with several high school students in it drives by and a girl wearing large sunglasses leans out and yells, "Fat ass!". I had no idea who any of this girl was or why she would want to yell at me from a moving vehicle. I haven't offended or pissed off any one in the last year to my knowledge.

I have been yelled at by some high school kids to "get a haircut" and "too poor to buy a car?" From their cars.

There also was a time where I was walking along a sidewalk listening to my iPod, and some jerk decided to honk his horn while right next to me during his drive. That scared the sh*t out of me.

Quite often actually. But I lived in New York, so people tend to be dicks on principle. But when I moved to the south a really odd thing happened. My friend and I were walking down the street to pick up the pizza we ordered (The shop was only 2 blocks away) and I hadn't bothered to tie my hair (I grew it out to piss off my mom, long story). As we were walking this car slowed down and someone yelled "Get a job!".

I really do hate when people do that, because unfortunately you can't yell a response fast enough for them to actually hear it, and if somebody said that to me while walking past me on the street I'd have called them out for it.

Also one time a car stopped next to me while I was walking and handed me a flier for a church...... I was dumbstruck for a minute that time.
