I'm sure we're all familiar with star wars or atleast know of it. This game is made to be a fill in between episodes 3 and 4 which is the best place to go, pity it doesn't explain the sudden decrease in quality (har har crappy joke).
The gameplay in this game is great it has just what you would expect in a game for next gen consoles, the character plays fine however my greatest problem would be that the game sometimes seems to play catch up with you like if I was to use a combo which would involve force lightning and I pressed the attack button a few too many times the character would proceed with the combo then stop. shoot lightning. and carry on, this got annoying later on in the game when you found yourself standing in the middle of the area as two or three robot's fired missles at you. The engine's that Star Wars use in combination are great together however I found that the characters repeated death animations for more than 1 attack like, say I was attacking a few stormtroopers and one shot his weapon, I deflect it into his stomach I then use force lightning on another and they both stumble backwards shaking slightly and fall to the ground almost identically.
Graphics wise the game is good, the lightsabers are rendered nicely with just the right amount of colour added to make them look perfect, the detail in the enviroments was amazing and boss battles felt they had some realism as you rip the startship out of the sky or force pushed darth vader into a window.
The story in Star Wars is ,and I stress, tiny! It took me 8-9 hours,if that, to complete while many other games take me up to 10 atleast, this really brings the game down as it felt the game was only teasing your interest for another sequel, enter star wars IV, but once you've completed the challenges in the training room there isn't much to do other than to go and collect the Jedi Holocrons scattered over the levels.
The extras in this game are an awesome addition it gives the player a little extra control over the character, however there isn't too much point in them after you complete the story as you cannot keep a selected costume on while you play through it again unless you have the patience to wait for the agonizing 12-15 seconds for the game to load you at the nearest checkpoint with your new costume.
Overall Star Wars is a great game for the occasional gamer or a younger gamer with enough content to keep them entertained for a little while and with enough customization options to change the character to how they like. However the long loading time and sometimes like of veriety in levels will keep you away from it. I advise anyone who was interested in this to rent before you buy.

Oh...Great Deity of the User Review section, grant me strength.

You really need some separation in that wall of text. You also need to work on the following: capitalized letters after periods, proper spacing after punctuation marks, your spelling, and the flow and pacing of your work.

The actual meat of the review is also pretty lacking. You need to tell us which console you're playing on, more about the game mechanics, maybe something about the sound and the graphics. If you did, I'm sorry but your writing is very scattered and almost...distracted?

Now, if you'll excuse me, my dog is barking like some sort of wild animal and it's annoying the hell out of me.

I do agree with what your review has said about the final product of the game. Having been one of the Beta Testers that worked on the game I know that the game was definitely released before it was ready. I'm definitely not going to blame the developers for it though. The challenge that the devs had put in front of them in developing the game was huge. The Physics was meant to be the selling point of the game, and they decided to use two different physics engines in unison to get their end result. Naturally that proved difficult. Compound those issues with having to connect the physics and AI and the whole thing seems daunting.

Development was plagued with delays and set-backs. Originally TFU was meant to have Multi-Player and early builds even had it but it was buggy and it was cut out. Several advanced physics features caused the game to slow down too much and those were cut as well. In earlier builds all the trees in the Kashyyk level were destroyable. Not only did your force push strip the bark off the trees, but they bent over in a fairly realistic fashion. The wood would split and shard into small strips so to speak. TFU is a victim of a horrible trend in development. Games are getting much too expensive to make, and customers are demanding new fangled graphics and effects. Development costs and time needed increase exponentially with each passing generation and we have been seeing the negative impact that has on game development first hand.

Seperate the text! Not a very detailed review either, friend. But I agree on your points, I did not like this game at all, the combat felt sticky and broken and the lock on was a pile of bollocks.

Edit my friend, but yeah I agree with most of your points. I think the best part of the game is the beginning when you play as Vader. Nothing brings satisfaction like slaughtering Wookies.
