I enjoyed Counting Crows' cover of Big Yellow Taxi more than the original.

Isn't it mutually accepted that Jeff Buckley's version is like 100x better then Leonard Cohen's, hell Leonard didn't even like his version and only became popular post humorously, Though I guess the same could be said about Jeff.

For that song, I'm actually rather enamored with Bon Jovi's version.

So am I. Heard 'em do it last year. Don't think there was a dry eye in the house when Jon sang that song. But I think you'll find that Leonard Cohen is still alive and touring at the moment, Unless you really did mean 'humourously' and not 'posthumously', which are different.

Wynonna made a version of Burning Love that I like more than Elvis Presley's.

Are we talking about the one that featured on the Lilo & Stitch soundtrack? If so, I agree. It was a lot of fun!

First, basically anything by Johnny Cash from the American Record series is either greather than, equal to, or very close to equal to the originals.

A Perfect Circle's cover [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dunKAwRN3P8] of John Lennon's "Imagine" [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-b7qaSxuZUg] is definitely a successful cover.

I disagree--Guns 'n Roses' cover of "Knocking on Heaven's Door" hurts my ears, primarily because of Axl Rose's nasal whine.
