I thought it was more or less a joke.
Sony: Hay guys! Look at our 3D games! Put your 3D glasses on tho! Wait....Nintendo did WHAT!?
Then proceeds to show trailers of meh games, hype up the PSP with some annoying kid, promote coca-cola and show off Wii Sports: Golf.
Huge game....Twisted Metal....yeah. That's like Nintendo showing off Animal Crossing as the big E3 game...oh wait.
And whatever happened to Last Guardian!? I was so looking forward to that.

They had a lot of cool-looking stuff... but it was cool-looking stuff that we've already heard of - they let their guns out too early in my opinion, and therefore lacked the "HOLY CRAP" factor of Nintendo... if they had held off the announcement of Killzone 3, Infamous 2 and LittleBigPlanet 2 till E3, that would have given they're conference a much bigger impact.
Ok, I am calling a tie. GT5 gets a date, Portal 2 and Twisted Metal. Oh and Sly Collection. Sony rocks. Kid Icarus, Metroid M, NBA Jam and DK. Nintendo is awesome. They both won cause they bet in the past and innovation.

Despite what Sony says about their "Move" I doubt it will be able to do anything better that the Wii Motion Plus. It just kinda made me mad watching them strut their stuff with a Tiger Woods demo that the Wii could've done in the first year it was around. From what I've seen so far, Sony's "Move" is simply a Wii Motion Plus, nothing more, probably less.
Okay, so now I just finished watching it, and I gotta say that I'm fairly impressed. I didn't have my mind blown to smithereens, but it was a good showing if it was slow at the start. As much as it pains me to say it, Nintendo seems to have won this years E3 if only in terms of sheer number of announcements.
Seeing Gabe Newell show some damn humility on the stage made me a happy panda
No showing of The Last Guardian made me a sad one
Overall though, a good showing, and a helluvah lot better than Microsoft.

Who else noticed when they were introducing something "new for the psp" someone shouted "A PRICE DROP!!" I lol'd
Personally I loved the look of the Sorcery game and it looked like a lot of fun, and Playstation move seemed overall a lot better than Kinect, and I personally thought it looked pretty good. Only bad point was the price, I mean $80 for a motion sensor controller? That will be around £50-60 in the UK which is just insane imo
Of course saying that, I expect Kinect to cost more, but looking at what came up at E3 it looked dire.
