Ugh that presser was terrible. It was just all "this is shit you know already, let's talk about how awesome we are". Literally the only surprise game was Twisted Metal, the rest were games we already knew about, though it was nice to see some new trailers for Infamous 2 and so on. Portal 2 was cool to see, but that's obviously multiplatform so it's hard to get too excited.
The PSP showing was WEAK. Only a short teaser trailer for GOW: Ghost of Sparta, and a new ad campaign. And with the 3DS coming out, this is when PSP really needed to step up and it didn't.
Honestly, it felt like filler. Sony honestly didn't have that much to show, so they made it drag on with montages and speeches. But hey, it was better than Microsoft's by a LONG shot.

This E3 was surprising. Sony actually grabbed alot of attention, Nintendo wasnt boring, and Microsoft kinda bombed.

I would like to see something more tacky than the stupid Playstation Move things... Seriously that was our big announcement of E3!?! Xbox 360 got slim and Natal, Nintendo got 3DS and what did we get?! A glowing light-bulb on the end of a stick!! On the up side Playstation Plus looks promising!
Im actually disappointed with Sony's show this year. Granted we haven't had a REAL E3 in the last 2 years...
For a company that produces a monolith system that was built to crush all comers after 4 years the most innovative thing they did was take a wiimote and put the accelerometer on the outside in a sack of goo, AND they made the 2 pieces separate. With 4 years dont you think they could have done more? Sure the Wii is a tonka toy in comparison but they have had this stuff for years now.

But they DID have some great games come out last year but are 3-4 GREAT games a year really enough to sell a system? To me, no, not even close. Thats why I just use my neighbors for awhile then go back to my PC.

At least there wasn't any "Giant Enemy Crab" or "RIIIIIIIIIIDGE RACER!".
What I don't get is why everyone is trying this whole Motion Sensor gimmick. If it's annoying on the wii than it'll be annoying on PS3 and Xbox! Who wants to get exercise and play games at the same time like that? Couldn't you just get your PS3 or Xbox 360 hooked up in front of the trednil and play your game of choice? It would be work to hook up, but if you already had the trednil it would provide various benefits. Or, be creative! find some other unique way to exercise and play games at the same time. You could say they do the motion thing for immersion, but it doesn't look very immersive to me.

Might get the sly collection too, so I can be nostalgic, about a time when most games were worth playing.
