Yeesh, I hope you're right. My PS3 is turned on and I'm waiting patiently, grrrr, for the update to arrive.

The update is already available to be downloaded and installed even if PSN isn't back up in your area. So go download it now so you have that done for whenever your area does get access again.

You'll get that once you can sign into PSN again.

It works like this people:

1. Get firmware update now by turning on your PS3 and going to System Update.
2. Wait for PSN to be back up in your area.
3. Sign into PSN and then you have to change your password.
4. Toss anyone who edits this list to "fix it" with the "??? profit" meme into an active volcano.

I did read your post. You mentioned that you hope the store comes back up soon AND THEN you said "At least I can finally redeem my costume codes." It sounded like you thought you can redeem the codes without the store being up. Maybe you should edit that to make it more clear, otherwise more people are going to point out that you can't do anything with your codes yet.
