Is it just me or are there really some people in this thread who base the majority of their existence on the PSN? Some of the reactions to Sony being back online equal ending wars.
Oh, wait, does that mean I should NOT suddenly kiss a woman in the street in the middle of a tickertape parade while wearing a sailor suit? Should I take down my Mission Accomplished banner? Darn it, why does no one tell me these things?!
Dude, it's a forum full of gamers on a gaming-based website that features gaming industry news and gaming-centric comedy. Are you honestly shocked gamers are excited about having the ability to finally, y'know, game again? I say let folks celebrate. This whole experience has sucked on toast, and being able to start putting it behind us and having fun again means something. Sure, it's not going to end wars or feed the hungry, but hell, neither was their next deathmatch or getting to play the Honest Hearts DLC. So chillax and let thine fellow gamers enjoy the moment, before we all go back to being angry at each other over pet genres or console vs. PC malarky.
More so OT, I intend to celebrate in my usual unsocial way... by d/ling the new Fallout patch and then going to shoot some Legion in the face. When my friends get on later, mayhaps then I can celebrate the return of multiplayer properly.
