WTF is this game's engine ?
It's from Kinetic Void [http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/seanpollman/kinetic-void]. I keep spruiking it because I'd really like it to get made.

I like the Serenity from Firefly personally.

Also, question: Does the TARDIS count as a spaceship if it goes through time and space (even though it's a police box)?

The Pirate Battleship from Homeworld 2's "Pirate Mod"

In all the games I have used this beauty I have never lost one (closest I've ever come is having one go down to 33% after killing most of the enemy fleet single-handedly) It has double the firepower of its Hiigaran and Vaygr equivalents, has an ungodly amount of health and moves faster than anything it's size has a right to. They're limited to 2 per player but tbh even one guarantees a win a good deal of the time.

It's a funny looking sailing ship, in space.
Vaguely remember something similar on the map for the AD&D starter set many, many moons ago.

OT: Serenity followed by the Falcon, I'd always go with a well-loved pile of junk than a soulless fancy-pants thing.

I really like the designs of the human ships in Halo. Like this one for example. It kind of looks like a giant gun to me, and giant space ship guns are awesome.
they pretty much are giant guns. its just that people walk inside them. hell, read any of the books, and its pretty much directly said that like 80% of the ship is weaponry. and yet the covies still kill them like flies.

The Liberty fleet from Freelancer looks quite good (Those are Liberty Cruisers, Rhinos, Patriots and Defenders and look far nicer in this image than in-game)

Oh, and of course the Nomad Battleship, from the same game:

For some reason, the purple hull and the natural looking curves of the Covenant ships just appeal to me.
It's helped by the fact that they're also extremely massive and powerful. Graceful but deadly.
I found the Covenant ships to be gloriously terrifying whenever I saw them in-game.
Great ships, them.

OT: The ARC-170.

It's because even the lightest of them can level a continent isn't it?

The Drake probably remains my favorite vessel in Eve Online. Excellent for various PVE tasks and in PVP it is a surprisingly versatile ship. Properly outfitted it can deliver a dozen volleys of heavy missiles against another BC before even being threatened or it can be built as a close range brawler that has surprising firepower and durability. Shame that no matter what you do it's a bit slow though.

As an alternative there was always the cerberus - the only Caldari response to the nano fleets save the always unpopular for caldari ships spider tank options. And to this day you'll not find a better answer to drones of all sorts and frigates of any stripe.

Another favorite of mine was the Harpy. I flew a number of them outfitted with select deadspace officer gear (at the time, the investment of 10 million isk was a worthy cause) as part of an anti-pirate effort in a section of lowsec. Surprisingly heavily gunned for a caldari frigate and the bonuses meant I could load my set of 125mm railguns with anti-matter ammo. Some scoffed at the use of a Deadspace Afterburner rather than the bog standard Micro-Warp Drive but the ship could still pull in excess of 1k/s - fast enough to keep up with most things cruiser or larger. The deadspace shield booster was another part that people often wondered about but given the purpose of the vessel, viability in 1v1 was more important than those "oh crap!" moments.

All told, the vessel not only provided tackling and sometimes outright destruction of ships far heavier, it also shredded most interceptors and frigates with ease. Hell, once it even claimed an assault missile armed Caracal in solo in a nail biting 5 minute battle that stretched the ship to the absolute limit.

Not the best ship I flew but it remains the one I had the most fun in. What's more, even though the price tag was staggering for the size (fully fitted it was a 40 million isk vessel with no insurance worth a damn), by the time I started flying them it was relatively trivial to replace.
