I wonder how they will react to my video of Saints Row The Third when I make Bill O'Riley in a thong and start killing people with a large dildo!
Relax, I actually agree with you, but its open to misinterpretation, and Fox news and other such outlets are going to exploit that misinterpretation to make a headline for the sake of making a headline.Stall said:I think ME3 will fly under the radar. I don't think SR3 will be so luck though, seeing as it has a dildo bat. Personally, this is going to be my melee weapon of choice, but FOX News probably won't see the stunningly glorious, immature humor in it all.
No, it's not bestiality since bestiality is defined as the sexual relationbetween a human and a lower animal. Argonians and Khajitis are PEOPLE... they are NOT lesser animals. Even further, how this this a question of ethics? Argonians and Khajitis are as intelligent as humans, and fully sentient. This means they CAN CONSENT. If you think the concept is funny, then fine, but it isn't philosophically correct to say it is somehow "not ethical" nor call it bestiality.chiefohara said:I know what you are saying, but chances are they won't allow relationships with characters like that anyway in case its interpreted as beastiality. The Planet of the Apes movie with Mark Walberg had the same dilemma with one of the female apes. They wanted a hint of a romantic subplot but the potential beastiality aspect of it, knocked the idea on the head.
Why is the concept of a "dictionary" so foreign to people?
The sin against having sex with BEASTS (Note the word beasts) is very specific. As long as the animals are unable to intelligently speak the human language, they are beasts. Considering that the Kahjit and Argonians can speak the human language, they are not beasts. Case closed.CM156 said:Allow me to qoute wikipedia on ZoophiliaFawcks said:That's not bestiality (beastiality isn't a word), because Kahjit and Argonians are not beasts.shootthebandit said:is it just me that finds it funny that the game is called "skyrim" and has flying animals and allows the player to commit beastialitySlash Dementia said:I have a feeling that Mass Effect 3 is going to go under their radar. I mean, they have Skyrim to pick on about being able to be gay and committing bestiality. I don't know. Whatever they say, I won't watch it anyway.
So yeah. I think it would qualify because Kahjit and Argonians are non-human animals.Zoophilia, from the Greek æῷïí (zṓion, "animal") and öéëßá (philia, "friendship" or "love"), also known as zoosexuality, is the practice of sex between humans and non-human animals (bestiality), or a preference or fixation on such practice
OT: I don't think they'll bother. I mean, did they say anything about Dragon Age and Dragon Age 2?
First off, the games I play dont really portray women as Sex objects. The Female Shepard character is far from it. Perhaps in some contexts sure, but i dont see it that way. Perhaps if you didnt play Leisure Suit Larry games, then you might see women in a different light in video games. But again, it is all pixels, Not real.HigherTomorrow said:I care not for the debate on whether non-humans that resemble animals but are also sentient crap, but this argument pisses me off the no end. This is not allowed in debates. You cannot say this. This is a universal argument surrender which makes you look like an asshole who can't back up his own opinions.Bluntman1138 said:Well, considering it is a GAME, and NO ONE IS HUMAN OR NON HUMAN, just pixels. This whole debate is a moot point.
"Women in video games are portrayed as sex objects." Oh, don't worry, they're only pixels.
"Random violence against civilians is too often rewarded in video games!" Oh, don't worry, they're only pixels.
No. They are pixels that are meant to resemble living things. If you watched a scene from a movie where a character is brutally raped, tortured, and then murdered in front of a first-grade class of students, would you say, "Ah, that was completely fine to show in both the context of the actual plot, and in the context of my own reality, as it is only acting."
Alright, I'm not even going to touch the second half of your post since I made it clear in my own that I did not give a shit whether or not it was beastiality or anything. I don't like Elder Scrolls, and I'm not interested in Skyrimjob. I don't care if it has beastiality or just a relationship between humans and cat-people.Bluntman1138 said:-snip-
If they let you build windmills and solar panels in ME3 shit will surely hit the fan.Wereraccoon said:My guess will be: THEY PREACH TO THE DEVIL WHILE THEY MAKE OUR CHILDREN GAY BEASTIALITISTS!
Ah, I see. Sorry for getting so worked up over something so silly.CM156 said:And I'd say it's fine as well. Legally, that is. Again, it comes down to a matter of ethics for me. And I'm a prude.
It's also a question of weither or not we are to apply in-game world logic to it, or real world logic. If the former: Fine. If the latter (Which I was doing) not so much.
I find this weird in the same way I find the furry fetish itself to be weird.
EDIT: I'm a bit of a prude. I'll never try to clame otherwise, dear reader.
