I doubt they'll really care. Fox News rarely talks about video games. Sure there was Bulletstorm and a few others, but for the most part they kind of ignore the subject. Besides, didn't they already cover the first Mass Effect?

I think ME3 will fly under the radar. I don't think SR3 will be so luck though, seeing as it has a dildo bat. Personally, this is going to be my melee weapon of choice, but FOX News probably won't see the stunningly glorious, immature humor in it all.

I know what you are saying, but chances are they won't allow relationships with characters like that anyway in case its interpreted as beastiality. The Planet of the Apes movie with Mark Walberg had the same dilemma with one of the female apes. They wanted a hint of a romantic subplot but the potential beastiality aspect of it, knocked the idea on the head.

No, it's not bestiality since bestiality is defined as the sexual relationbetween a human and a lower animal. Argonians and Khajitis are PEOPLE... they are NOT lesser animals. Even further, how this this a question of ethics? Argonians and Khajitis are as intelligent as humans, and fully sentient. This means they CAN CONSENT. If you think the concept is funny, then fine, but it isn't philosophically correct to say it is somehow "not ethical" nor call it bestiality.

The sin against having sex with BEASTS (Note the word beasts) is very specific. As long as the animals are unable to intelligently speak the human language, they are beasts. Considering that the Kahjit and Argonians can speak the human language, they are not beasts. Case closed.

Also, to my knowledge, only Bill O'Reilly was against Mass Effect for it's sex scene and his an Optionater. He's on the network to express his OPTION and Fox News does not hold his words to be the station's official beliefs.

For me, its about human tertiary sexual characteristics. Humans are ok, Elves are ok because they are basically just humans with slightly different builds. Orcs are a little out there, but basically fit the same bill as Elves. But Khajit and Argonians...they share nothing in common with humans other than being bipedal and vaguely humanoid in appearance. Hell, are Argonians even mammals?

I dunno, "right" and "wrong" with sex is a very tenuous topic and at the end of the day really comes down to the two people involved. That said, being in a relationship with one of those two races would be like being in one with a Turian, Quarian, or Krogan from Mass Effect. You may be in love with them, but you are genetically incompatible at the most basic level. You're likely to end up killing one another if you have intercourse. Thats basically nature's way of saying "This isn't gonna work out".

If you watched a scene from a movie where a character is brutally raped, tortured, and then murdered in front of a first-grade class of students, would you say, "Ah, that was completely fine to show in both the context of the actual plot, and in the context of my own reality, as it is only acting."

First off, the games I play dont really portray women as Sex objects. The Female Shepard character is far from it. Perhaps in some contexts sure, but i dont see it that way. Perhaps if you didnt play Leisure Suit Larry games, then you might see women in a different light in video games. But again, it is all pixels, Not real.

And is Liara T'Soni real? IS that what you are saying. Because most games i play isnt based on any real life people. And only a few games are based on real life events. But apparently by your logic, everything resembles something real.I have never seen an Elf in a chain mail bikini in real life. I have never seen an Asari in real life.

And then i have to wonder what kind of person would show a class of first graders a movie with a brutal rape and torture scene. Of course, it takes someone with half a brain to realize the difference between the two. Animals are NOT sentient beings. Argonians, and Kajait are sentient beings, NOT ANIMALS. They are highly evolved, intelligent beings. With communication and critical thinking skills.

But by most peoples definition, Worf and Troi making out is beastiality. I call it an inter-species relationship. But of course, my parents did not fail me.

I imagine they'll pick and choose their battles with video games as most Fox viewers still think of Tetris as a communist threat and a new release. Also, FOX's audience, relevance and influence is shrinking, and TV in general is losing market share to videogames, and they're worried. They'll keep on demonising, but they'll probably go for Skyrim or SR3.

Also, in ME3 you'll spend the majority of the game killing aliens/foreigners, isn't that enough to have O'Reilly tumescent with excitement, not mad at the game? Never got why they got mad with CoD, surely a game where you're mainly shooting foreigners must be as tho they wrote the game for FOX. 'Woo! Ah'm gonna go shoot me some ay-rabs!'

I know and understand there's news shows and opinion shows on FOX, but if I showed up to parties with a guy in a KKK outfit and a flaming torch, I wouldn't blame black friends for not calling me so much, despite knowing I'm not racist.

I find their separation between news and opinion about as effective as America's separation of church n state.
