Firefox generally gives me red lines under my miss-spelled words, so when I see those I'll go back and change it.

I use my horrific memories at the hands of my evil parents, battering spelling and grammar into me at a young age so that I may never be wrong again in sentence.

Google chrome spell checks automaticly. sometimes its a bit finicky though, like alerting me that i spelled xbox wrong and it beeps at Google as well, ironicly.
oh wait never mind i just right clicked and it thinks Google needs to be capitalized. arrogant bastards.

I always spell check everything [text, etc...] I send out into the world.
For computer stuff Firefox underlines with red anything misspelled and I just have to alt click to see the correction.

Wow, you do really well considering:

A. You have no spellchecker

and

B. English isn't your first language.
Eh, I tend to check everything, that's all.
However, I do make grammar mistakes from time to time, pretty annoying since I find English very very easy.

Yes, I do check my spelling, mostly because i sometimes forget certain, and this can make my posts unreadable. Besides missing words, I ad punctuation and check so I didn't forget to capitalize an "I". And finally I check my grammar, just to check if it's readable.

(I'm a bit of a Grammar Nazi, *shame*)
[sub]And I know, more stupid jokes, i just can't help it![/sub]

I don't.

I can spell pretty well, and any mistakes the spellchecker on my browser does find tend to be just regional variations.

For example, it complains when I use the word "movie".

I don't spell check at all. I'm quite heavily dyslexic so I hit myself hard with these words to keep myself on my toes. So to speak.

Unless I'm really unsure about the proper spelling of a word, or the right translation from my language (Dutch) I use Google. Other than that I just read my post before clicking the "Post" button and correct any errors. I don't use any spellchecking program.

Actually I don't use it, but then again, I write more english on the internet than any other language, Norwegian is no. 2 with about 1% of the language I use on the internet. It's a good habit Iæve got to write proper english :D
But if I see a spelling error, I'll be fast pressing the shiny, blue "EDIT" button and remove my spelling errors.

I do not use spell check, but that's because I think my spelling is adequate enough that even if I do have one or two spelling mistakes, it's not enough to derail my post or make it anywhere near unreadable.

I think that there are a lot of users who should though.

Maybe it's arrogant, but some people really NEED to use it. I know mine isn't perfect, so I never try and post or complain about other peoples, unless it's a hilarious typo which is usually because of incorrect syntax more than a hilarious typo.

I can spell... like... really well. I've always been able to. I'll always spot a misspelling by myself; so thank you very much technology, but on this one, I'd like to trust my own judgement.

Sometimes, if I'm rushing to type up a post, I'll mix up two letters, leading to words such as "liek," or "ot." And in the heat of the moment, I'll say to myself 'Oh does one spelling mistake really matter? Come on, just finish the post...' But I'll almost immediately have a niggling, OCD-like desire to go back and fix it. Perhaps it is OCD...

In general, my spelling and grammar have always been excellent, and I recently learned the proper rules for using semicolons (I think), so I'm still bettering myself.

If there ever appears, on some bleak day, a post made by myself with more than one spelling mistake, you can be assured that I "typed" it up on my iPod, with its ridiculously horrendous auto-correct feature... So apologies in advance are in order.

I do find that I use ellipses on the Internet far too often... Perhaps I should cut down on that... Nah...

I don't use any form of spellcheck but I do go over my posts to make sure I avoid any glaring errors.

Far too often I find myself wishing that other people did the same *sigh*.

I use chrome, and while at home it has spell check, but when at school I bring Chrome on a flash drive since I hate IE, and at school it lists every word as spelled wrong, even if it's not, and if I right click on it, Chrome crashes. It sucks.

I use Firefox - spell checking is built right in. Any spelling errors left over I either overlooked, chose to ignore or were spelled correctly.

I try to keep my spelling in check. Especially considering I'm relatively new to the Escapist at time of posting this and I don't want to be seen as one of the "sepcial pepole"

I agree with you on this one. I've only written like 20 replies and already used at least six of the things.
