Though I do give those who learned English as a second language a but more leniency, I've notice that most of them do try.
agreed, most of the posters on here who's first language isn't English actually have better grammar than people who's first language is English

But really, I have noticed this. If I read their post count before I read their post, and it's around 10 or something like that, then I am skeptical about their upcoming post.

Dedicated team of sub-editors?That sounds like a little too much effort.
You're right about the vote system being abused, though. That could get nasty.
Is it actually possible to program a spellchecker into the forums?I know nothing about programming ><
We have a dedicated team of moderators, is it really so much of a stretch?

We could always refer them to wiki-how. http://www.wikihow.com/Use-You're-and-Your [http://www.wikihow.com/Use-You're-and-Your] =P
Link fixed.
I had a quick look at that page. It's OK at the start but all please be aware that use of "you" is not as bad as it implies in the "Warnings" section. Prefer the active voice over the passive voice wherever possible.

Attempting to enforce any kind of spelling regulations via moderators or such is likely to just incite more people to break the rules out of spite. I don't think it is too much to ask for proper grammar and spelling, but as my experience on the net has shown me, it most definitely is too much to ask.

Oh, and thanks for the welcome.
