Good job Spongebob, Patrick, Sandy, Mr Krabs, Squidward and the rest
an amazing ten year run as an amazing show that both kids, teens and adults everywhere enjoy!
TEN YEARS!

http://www.throng.co.nz/spongebob-squarepants/spongebob-squarepants-celebrates-10-years-air

so guys! what were your favorite spongebob moments? :D

Season 1, Episode 5: Pizza Delivery (SpongeBob and Squidward try to deliver the first Krabby Patty Pizza.)

Season 3, Episode 20: The Camping Episode (Squidward is excited that SpongeBob and Patrick go camping but completely stops when he sees their tent is ten feet away from SpongeBob's house. He decides to join in and doesn't have the best time. He not only gets mauled by a bear but doesn't even wear anti sea-rhinoceros undergarments when he should.)

Season 3, Episode 2: Frankendoodle When a giant pencil hits the ocean floor of Bikini Bottom, SpongeBob decides to draw himself with it. What he draws is unfortunately, a meaner and more annoying him. Now he needs to destroy his own creation before it's too late.

Season 4, Episode 14: Squidtastic Voyage
Original Air Date?25 November 2006
Squidward swallows his clarinet by accident. SpongeBob's able to get the clarinet out, but the reed is still in there. SpongeBob and Patrick must get the reed out by shrinking to miniature size, finding it, and dislodging it

Your Shoe's Untied:When Patrick gets new shoes, SpongeBob gives Patrick a shoe-tying lesson. As soon as shoes are untied, however, SpongeBob forgets how to tie his shoes! The matters get worse, between falling down with every step to not being able to deliver a Krabby Patty to Squidward. SpongeBob then desparatly goes around town searching for someone who knows how to tie a shoe. Even the Flying Dutchman, who gives SpongeBob a lecture on how to tie other types of knots, doesn't know. But the answer soon finds it way to SpongeBob in someone he never suspected.

Survival of the Idiots: Ignoring Sandy's hibernation warning, SpongeBob and Patrick go into Sandy's treedome in the middle of winter. They discover Sandy in the middle of her hibernation as an "overinflated Sandy-doll", and decide to mess with her while she's dreaming about Texas outlaws. But Sandy starts to sleepwalk, and thinks that SpongeBob and Patrick are the two outlaws that "Shreiff Sandy" is after. Now, SpongeBob and Patrick have to escape the treedome before Sandy gets them or they freeze.

Shanghaied:When a ship's anchor drops into SpongeBob and Squidward's homes, SpongeBob, Patrick and Squidward find themselves on the deck of the Flying Dutchman's ghost ship, where they are doomed to become his crew forever. After Squidward is dropped in the Fly of Despair, SpongeBob and Patrick help the Flying Dutchman on numerous haunting sprees. But due to their horrible haunting skills, the Dutchman concludes that the only way to deal with them would be to eat them!

And that is only some of my favorites...

I can't stand that show. It's single handily responsible for killing the brain cells of hundreds of kids around the world. It's stupid. There is no logic or educational benefit whatsoever. It was made to increase the number of dumb kids so the public schools could feel like they were accomplishing something.
What? You're blaming Spongebob for "single handily responsible for killing the brain cells of hundreds of kids around the world"

That seems a tad harsh there.

Spongebob!

I love spongebob.
The first few seasons of it anyway.

Some quotes!

1.
Mr Krabs:*draws a picture of a ghost on a piece of notebook paper. Attaching it to a piece of string, he dangles it over Spongebob's bed, through an adjacent window* OOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
Spongebob: OH MY GOSH! A FLYING SHOPPING LIST!!
Mr. Krabs: *remembering that the opposite page was recently used as list of groceries, quickly remedies his error by flipping the page over, revealing his claw in the process. Interestingly, Spongebob does not notice the shiny red object flipping the paper over* I'M NOT A SHOPPING LIST, I'M A GHOOOOOOOOOOSSTT!!
Spongebob: AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

2.
Spongebob: Bye Squidward! Bye Mr. Krabs! *sounding flirtatious* Bye Squidward.
Patrick: You said 'Bye Squidward' twice.
Spongebob: I like Squidward.

That can be said about nearly every show there is on television, but it's one of the worst.
I think people like it because of the pretty colors though.

From that one episode where Patrick joins Spongebob for a day of Boating School.

Patrick: Hey Spongebob.
Spongebob: What?
Patrick: 24.
The both giggle, because when Patrick was asked his name in front of the class s few seconds earlier, he panics in stage fright and yells out 24. The students laugh, so Spongebob concluded the number to be some sort of funny.
Spongebob: Hey Patrick.
Patrick: Yeah?
Spongebob: You wanna know something funnier than 24?
Patrick: Lay it on me.
Spongebob: 25.
They laugh uncontrollably, smashing their heads on their desks.

It's my guilty pleasure. Sue me.

In the early seasons Spongebob ROCKED!

It's not even that dumb compared to the shows I was raised on. Cow 'n Chicken, Ed Edd 'n Eddy... Johnny Freaking Bravo

As for my favourite moment...

The Entire Hash Slinging Slasher Episode

My hands down, favorite moment in Spongebob was in Band Geeks when Spongebob sings at the Bubble Bowl. That floors me to this day.
same, I love the songs in Spongebob. Especially the Christmas episode song.

Although, any episode with Patchy the Pirate is automatically horrible. It's a cartoon, it doens't need real characters

Wait it's been on for ten years now?

That's really long for a kids show. It's a modern kids show to. That makes it even more bizarre.
holy crap I can't believe it either! I think there are over 200 episodes! In someways the moral of spongebob is that it's ok to be gay (which is true (not gay.))

I always thought Spongebob was asexual rather than homosexual. I mean it would make sense, after all he is a sponge.

Uh...the vast majority of television is the same thing.
Though I'd love to actually see proof that watching a cartoon kills brain cells.
I watched Spongebob, and I seemed to turn out pretty well.

Though I can't really argue that it has such poor "educational benefit".
Some of the best television programs are on the Discovery channel.

I tried watching an episode of Spongebob and.. I just didn't get it. It was just like everyone involved in the making of it was on crack cocaine and/or worse.

.. I'll take Looney Tunes over it any day.
