The Shi'Al'da are going to basically be space dragons, able to both burrow and fly, as well as have high intelligence. They'll be bipeds, but have four, powerful arms, scaly wings, and a face crossing a hawk with a dragon. If I can get it to happen, they will be able to breath fire, and if I'm really lucky, they'll be able to forge metal with their bare claws(body temperature 290 degrees fahrenheit).
Mine will have four legs, but will have two long arms and a horse-like head. So basically, a more horse-based centaur but with an elongated neck and small arms.
Indeed, all year, in fact. I'm hoping you can equip species with the ability to survive in hard vacuum, as well as boarding enemy vessels. Because if I can, my Shi'Al'da can simply fly out, grapple onto a ship, then burn their way in.UPS Express said:
Actually, while heat weaponry may seem to be their obvious primary weapon, Cryonics is actually one of their specialties, and they actively use it in combat. The reason for this is that when they were fighting to unite their world, they put a great deal of resources into developing the perfect weapon to use against their own species: Cold. I don't know what my creature will look like yet. I have a few made on the creature creator, but I think that mine will actually be based off the previous levels and how I decide to play (i.e.: aggressive, friendly, run away). You'll all know mine when you see it though. It will be the awesome one.
I haven't bought the creature creator yet, because lord knows this peice of crap won't support it, and my laptop has some apparently impossible-to-fix problem. When I do buy Spore, though, I plan on making a large humanoid creature, which will probably end up looking like what would happen if Alien knocked up Predator.
