Remember when TF2 would be out in 2000? Remember when Half Life 2 would be released in 2003? Remember when Steam was going to have a monthly plan and free access to all the game titles? Remember when Half Life 2 was going to have episodic expansions instead of expansion packs years apart?Jumplion said:Of course, that's why I wish that I had a better PC to finally get the Orange Box, but I can't.not a zaar said:I can understand why people who have invested in a certain console would want there to be more games for it, but Valve is not the company to provide you PS3 games. They are a PC gaming company.
But the main thing I'm pissed off at VALVe (more specifically Gabe Newell) is that they gave us PS3 owners false hope of ever getting any taste of L4D aside from a rumour or two. Come on, we know that Gabe hates the PS3 for whatever reason (though I recall reading somewhere where he said "we're reassessing the value of the PS3" though that could be bullshit as well), so why did he give any sort of hope for the PS3?
L4D sold extremely well, they're VALVe for fucks sake! So give us a definitive answer, yes or no?
This is not new. Valve has been promising and taking it back for over a decade now.
