Square is now doing Directs - March 18th

Looks like Square will be doing Directs now, following along with Nintendo and Sony and such. This 40 minute presentation will feature trailers and announcements and probably wont feature Final Fantasy 7 so it'll be complete trash. But hey Avengers is written on the flyer so get pumps for that turd basket I guess.

Anyway, a new Life is Strange title is always nice, I suppose, if you're into that sort of things. But if that is the flag bearer of the showcase I'm probably gonna sit this one out.

I'm a bit surprised they wouldn't want to drop some info on FF16 in their inaugural direct presentation. Maybe they'll be detailing their latent effort to breath some life into Marvel's Avengers.

On a side-note, I grabbed FF7 Remake since it's free on PS+ at the moment, but I'm still salty about the messing around with the plot they did so I'm not sure if I'll play it or not.

Play the first 3 chapters at least. They don't really mess with the plot until the end.

This sucks so much. Really wanted to know how the story would have ended.

The current lineup is pretty lackluster. Publish something good like a reboot of Legacy of Kain or something. Or a modern Akuji the heartless. Such a shame they only recycle the same crap over and over. It never ends well when a big company swallows a small one. All the taste and flavor gone for another milquetoast experience.

.....Really? The game itself is shit, the player numbers have dropped, lost huge amount of money, the game gets even more grindier, and you expect some small content to bring back the player base? Yes, Both heroes are iconic, and I'm sure they'll be fun to play as, but how long are the missions featuring them? two hours? three hours? This really don't solve any problems
