It's a shame Saints Row: The Third is a pile steaming shit compared to Saints Row 2... But if it's cheap you may as well.
how is SA2 better? The story is grittier and more realistic in 2, but that is about it.
the enemies in SA3 are harder, which is a good thing because the second game was WAY too easy. I could walk into 20 opponents in SA2 and kill them all under 30 seconds with head shots. SA3 it generally takes a few head shots, and they reel from every shot to the head. Plus there are specialists and brutes with brutes taking about 20 headshots to take down. driving is better in SA3.
Well cupcake...
I liked the gritty story and slight realism, assuming you played on the higher difficulties, casual was rather weak. But back to my point, they took all the silliness and didn't balance it out with any sort sombre dark, or realistic parts, and thus I couldn't take it seriously. A head shot is generally one shot, one kill...
Everything always ends up as a big shootout with the police and occasionally a gang which is annoying since instead of driving through a F&F you have to get out of your car, and walk into a shop, it breaks the flow of game play.
I can't argue about the driving mechanic, some of the drifts I've pulled in that game a mental, but it doesn't make up for all the over the top silliness.
And what's with all the damage reduction upgrades? And the infinite ammo, no reloads. Two rather overpowered, game breaking upgrades and it becomes easier easier than SR2 on casual.
Anyway, I don't expect you to agree so whatever sunshine. Each to their own.
Also one last thing... What the fuck is SA2 & 3? It's SR...
