Personally preferred Bill Hicks but George was certainly the man and I think he was the influence for Hicks. I could be wrong on this though.

See, it's funny if that's true because I can't stand George Carlin's standup, I just don't find it funny, Bill Hicks on the other hand is my god. I genuinely think he's the funniest guy i've ever seen.
