Izzard is great, as is Lewis C.K., Doug Stanhope, Jimmy Carr, been watching a lot of Tim Minchin's work lately too.

As far as least favourite.... J.B. Smoove, just because he seems to be in everything I see lately, and I don't like his comedy at all. Plus his name is dumb.

Dara O'Brien, Frankie Boyle, Dylan Moran, Doug Stanhope, all brilliant.
Michael Macintyre pisses me off completely, I cannot fucking stand him.

I love Robin Williams, George Carlin, Patton Oswalt, Jeff Dunham, and Gabriel Iglesias. In that order :3

Least favorite...I don't like Dane Cook so much. I dunno, I guess I just never got him or his style or something.

Richard Pryor, Red Foxx, Lewis Black, Bill Cosby, Rodney Dangerfield, Brian Posehn, Eddie Izzard, George Carlin, Christopher Titus, Mitch Hedberg, so many to mention.

Least Favorite, Dane Cook, Ned Holness (a.k.a. Carlos Mencia), all the black comedians who jump right to the "derp white / black people" jokes.

Knew there were a couple I forgot.

As for Dane Cook's "style" it's basically "I was on the internet and like to flail around"

Top three: Ross Noble, Rhod Gilbert, Dylan Moran. Also a big fan of Eddie Izzard

Least favourite: Lee Evans. That man is fucking dreadful! Also Dane Cook but that's a given, nobody likes him

Eddie Izzard for being a genius, Jimmy Carr for being the hardest working man in comedy and staying bloody funny. Plus Reginald D. Hunter for just being his perfect self

Least favourite probably goes to most of the also rans on Mock the Week but in particular the random non-sequiter man Milton Jones. Not. Funny.

Stewart Lee. Well thought out comedy that he's actually trying to make a point with. Go watch his comedy vehicle. The best lone crier in the wilderness since Bill Hicks.

The only comedian I really like who hasn't already been mentioned is Sean Lock, so I'll mention him.

I like Sean Lock.

Edit: Forgot David Mitchell, for shame! He's great too.

Well I'm going to see Louis C.K live in about 2 and a half weeks and absolutely can't wait ^_^ Might go see some other folks at the Montreal Just for Laughs festival also.

I don't really like the puppet dude or Dane Cook.

*Woot after almost 3 years 1000 posts ^_^

Favourites: Dara O Brien, Bill Bailey, Dillan Moran, Reg. D Hunter (If just for his amazing voice) Eddie Izzard and my number one hero, insipiration and love, Ross Noble!
As for dislikes, Lee Evans. He'd be a good kid's comedian with all his flailing, and he is physically impressive since he's a ragdoll, but he's just not funny to me, and he looks like a sweaty mouse. Chris Rock. I'll probably get flak for this but from what I've seen he does have some funny moments (His bit on when a white people can say the N word was quite hilarious) but then he just decends into woman bashing for ages and ages, seriously it was about 40 minutes of straight misogyny, so I suppose I don't like him because he's a comedian I'm uncomfortable to watch. Emo Phillips. Not sure if he's done anything in a while, and he's one of those comedians where his jokes are funny, but I just can't stand the comedian. Just the way he moves and talks just doesn't gel with me, I'll laugh at his routine if it was on the radio say, but not if I say it live.

I'll be strict with myself and name only one.

Favourite at the moment: Louis CK, relatively new to his stuff but he puts so much emotion and a kind of sensitivity into his stuff that it makes it really relatable as well as hilarious.

Least favourite: Al Murray I'd go for, the man is everywhere and I've no idea why. The pub landlord 'character' is just dull, predictable, and I'm growing ever more concerned that Al Murray is the landlord's alter ego, not the other way around.
