Honestly I forced myself to watch the third one, almost as much as I watched Batman and Robin...I'm just about done with super hero sequels, and Star wars has made me wise of the crapness contained in prequels.

He made the unfortunate mistake of signing an ironclad contract with the horror that is Stephanie Meyer and her devoted/totally retarded fanbase and the only reason he's acting like that in the films is he's trying to sabotage it so they'll fire him.
Pattinson may actually be a good actor if he ever gets the chance to be in a good film.

Yeesh, what a cynical bunch, especially since everyone here seems to be basing his acting off of trailers for movies that aren't out yet. Lerman was alright in "3:10 to Yuma", so I'm curious what he'll do with a bigger role. Certainly could have been worse (Mr. Sparkly, for instance...).

The one thing I don't have any hopes for with the reboot is the high school setting. It makes sense for the character, but I do get the creeping sense of Twilight-itis.

I don't want the Spiderman story to regress any, meaning I don't want to watch Peter get bit by a spider and have to learn his powers again. That would be annoying.

I want to see Peter Parker fight Lizard Man or Hobb Goblin!

Also, what exactly happened to Toby Macquire? I know he's old (for the character of Peter Parker), but I hate seeing a series just switch up who plays the main character in the middle.
