To anyone who uses Steam on the PC, be careful! I just had my account hacked, as well as 2 of my mates- of course, it was my own stupid fault, but nonetheless! Ignore a link describing free games on Steam!

Um... it's a bit obvious anyone should ignore something that says "FREE" if it's on the internet.

Seeing free items on the internet is like seeing hedgehogs in a petting zoo. They may look tempting, but don't touch them

It happened to me too - it wasnt till i went back and clicked the comments I realised the plan.

But you guys can get your accounts back, if you have the physical CD take a photo of your CD key - if you bought it off steam using a credit card you can recover it there also, they are sharpish about it too.

go to steampowered support page and find out more!

I've never had my Steam hacked. But that's because I'm extremely cautious on my web browsing and don't click stuff like that.

On a separate note, I have been requested by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company to contact you for assistance in resolving a matter. The Nigerian National Petroleum Company has recently concluded a large number of contracts for oil exploration in the sub-Sahara region. The contracts have immediately produced moneys equalling US$40,000,000. The Nigerian National Petroleum Company...

I've seen these links and ignored them.
I got half life games for free thanks to my graphics card, though.

Also isn't what you're mentioning here illegal? How do you think they would get said free games?

EEK! No thanks..

I quite like that analogy though. Mind if I Take it, and give you no credit whatsoever use it and follow up by stating that it is, infact, property of you?
