Question about Arkham City: I know GFWL is needed for online play, but can I just not log on and play it offline?

its been a long time but i think you can but you wont be able to save! i am not 100% sure i recall that right and cant check atm

I'm new to the whole "Steam Sale" thing.

I've been buying things over the past few weeks. Nothing huge, for the most part. But I thought "hey, some cool deals, I don't see why everyone hate-loved the Summer Sale".

Same here. I bought a decent laptop 2 months ago, so this is the first Steam sale that I partake in. Short story: Been cautiously buying games over the past few weeks and now ?70 lighter after the first hour. Curses!

What I do feel good about is that the Skyrim I bought a week ago was still a lot cheaper than it is now on Steam sales.

Hey, is Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light any good for someone whose friends don't play games? I've heard a lot of good things about it's co-op mode, and it's 75% off now,but I'm not sure if it's worth it if I'll play through it in single-player (online randoms? Psssh). Also, is the DLC for it any good?

Crap now my daughter is going to get flooded with cheap steam games as soon as the server gets past the customers doing a DNS attack lol.

You mean a Distributed Denial of Service attack or DDoS.

DNS is the Domain Name System which allows you to navigate the internet using textual web addresses (domain names) instead of numerical IP addresses.

It is entirely possible that people out there want valve to have to remember every single ip address in the world........ very unlikely, but possible...... and a DNS attack would do that.

OT: I really only want 2 things, a copy of Portal 2 for my friend, so we can finally play together, and GoT the Role Playing game
