Well... Basically I just bought "Runner 2" and that might not have been a big purchase even without the sale. I do own the games which are of big interest to me already (for example Dark Souls, Dishonored and Bioshock Infinite), but yes, there was much more interesting stuff that Runner 2 of course (Far Cry 3 etc.) but I don't have the time so I don't buy that much, it really is as simple as that for me :)

Antichamber, Left 4 Dead 1 & 2, Borderlands 2 + DLC, XCOM : Enemy Unknown, Fallen Enchantress, Torchlight 2 (Already had it; bought as a gift).
Overall, didn't go too overboard. I still bought a lot more than I should have done, and in most likelihood won't play half of what I bought, but I did manage to hold myself back a little.

Absolutely nothing, I got everything I wanted last year, this sale was rather lacking to be honest.
Good thing too because I have no money left to spend.

Quick! Help! I have 10 bucks in my steam wallet and I don't know what to buy. I probably should buy something today because there are so many games on sale. and they're gonna be moere expensive soon.

From what I can see on the front page, I can personally highly recommend Dishonored and the Walking Dead.
I've also heard good things about Torchlight 2 so if you like Diablo like games that should be a safe bet.

I managed to not spend a crapton since I still have stuff to play from the last time I did that. With that said, I did snag a few things:

Borderlands 2 Season Pass
Dishonored
Aliens - Colonial Marines.....oh lord why?!?!?!
FTL
Binding of Issac
Demigod
Rock of Ages

Rough total price.....around $40.

I bought a couple games:

- Borderlands 2 with the Mechromancer and Psycho DLC
- Terraria
- Bully Scholarship Edition (It was cheap and I always wanted to give it a try, so why not?)
- Sang-Froid Tales of Werewolves (couldn't resist a game made in my province (Quebec), co-written by one of my favourite author when I was a kid)
- Sid Meier's Pirates! (Yaarr)
- Ys I & II Chronicles
- Stronghold 3 Gold

And I gifted Borderlands 2 to my brother so we could play together in co-op mode,

That's about it. I like Steam sales!

By Grabthar's hammer, what a savings.

My spending spree included:
- Deus Ex: Human Revolution + DLC
- Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion + Trinity
- Kerbal Space Program
- Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Deluxe
- Fallout New Vegas Ultimate
- Torchlight II
- The Walking Dead
- Strike Suit Zero
- Just Cause + some DLC
- Medieval II: Total War
- Scribblenauts Unlimited
- Antichamber
- Battlefront II
- Jedi Academy
- some Dishonored DLC
- some Saints Row: The Third DLC
and Steam tells me I've spent a grand total of $135.58 (ouch >.>)

The things I'm happiest with are Torchlight II (already addicted) and Strike Suit Zero (better than I expected it to be).

I have no real regrets, but I'm slightly disappointed in Kerbal Space Program. It's fun, but not as exact as I expected it to be. But it's still being worked on, so I'm okay with it. :)

Sins: Rebellion
System Shock 2
Counter-Strike Collection
Bastion
Sang-Froid
Civ 5: Gold Edition

Plus a friend gave me Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Amnesia.

Total cost: just under £30, not bad actually compared to some previous ones!

If I may inquire, did you watch Total Biscuit's salebox?
I'd never heard of it til you mentioned it, i'm afraid..

I just saw it for 29 pence, and thought that i couldn't NOT buy it.. i'm a sucker for point and click games, and they looked like fun =)

I only bought one game and that was Natural Selection 2 because it was 75% off for a grand total of £4.75/$7.30, and having played on it for significantly longer than the average £40/$60 triple A game, I'd say I have gotten my monies worth.

I wanted to get Prison Architect, but they only went as far as 35% off, and to be honest the game is overpriced for an alpha build anyway, so I didn't buy it in the end.

Other games I considered but did not by were Fallen Enchantress, plus the new expansion pack Legendary Heroes and Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion. I like RTS games, but I wasn't sure how fun they might be.

Endless Space
System Shock 2
Tomb Raider
RAGE

I normally buy more... but I've already got like 350 games... so...I didn't see a lot that I wanted/were cheap enough/didn't already have.

Nothing, pretty broke at the moment, did consider Arma 2. But lately i've been having alot of fun with F2P games like Warframe and War Thunder. Only thing I know I have to buy coming up is Rome 2 Total War.

Saw alot of buzz for Bastion, actually got that for iOS a while ago, need to get back into it.

Tomb Raider (and some upgrades DLC), Sleeping Dogs (and all DLC), Arkham City GOTY and Saints Row the Third: The Full Package.

I owned them all on the 360 but couldn't resist the Steam sale prices, especially since buying them was cheaper than getting the DLC for the games on the console.

Hotline: Miami and Saint's Row 2.

I did get the first weapon pack for Killing Floor as well, but that was technically before the sale began.

Hotline: Miami is so hauntingly and creepily great, Saints Row 2 so far has been another fun co-op run with my friend.

I feel like I got less and more than I was expecting this year, maybe because I had a lull in buying for a few days there.

But what I got:
Hotline Miami
Bastion
Kinetic Void
Organ Trail Director's Cut
Dust: An Elysian Tail
Some Sleeping Dogs DLC
FTL: Faster Than Light
Super Meat Boy
Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed
StarForge (Alpha)
Payday: The Heist

All games that got/are getting filed into my Backup Log for a while...with the exception of the Sleeping Dogs dlc.

Only game I bought was Tomb Raider. I have most of the games I want and massive backlog so there isn't a lot I actually wanted. I was considering getting Dishonored but I think I'll wait until the complete version will all the DLC is released.

Hmmm... Let me see. I didn't get nearly as much as some, but I feel as though I did ok. I got:

Skyrim - Dragonborn DLC
Skyrim - Dawnguard DLC
XCOM: Enemy Unknown + DLC
Fallout: New Vegas
Spec Ops: The Line
Roller Coaster Tycoon 3: Platinum

Wow, that was it. I was a little disappointed this year. I wanted some more titles, but they didn't come down enough for me. I was looking at Metro: Last Light, but it never came down enough to be worth it for me.

EDIT: To everyone who bought Kerbal Space Program, have fun! That game is a HUGE time sink! :p

Due to the lack of funds, the only game I ever bought is Battlefield: bad company 2, I'm really digging the multiplayer in this game, though due to my time playing online , I have yet to make though the 3rd chapter of the campaign , which by the way is good as well.

I bought:

Thomas Was Alone
Some Magicka DLC
Deus Ex + DLC
Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition

Not much, but I had most everything else I wanted.
