Just out of interest, who here on the escapist is a fellow King reader, and if so what are some of your favourites. In addition what do you think of the various film adaptions that have been made over the years?
My favourites are probably:
Bag of Bones (which I am told is getting a film adaption, I would love to see Kurt Russell play Mike Noonan)
Under the Dome
IT - The film version of this classic horror tale is perfect in my opinion, however as scary as the film may be (I am scared of clowns) the book is so much more terrifying. This is because with a book you can picture what is going on yourself so the imagery etc is always going to hit home more than a film.
The Mist
And out of his short stories - The raft, the man in the black suit.
I have not yet finished the dark tower series, I am on book 4.
