If I lived in Australia and had a set of Stormtrooper armor I would be right there beside him. I don't know anything about the cause, but really.... does it matter? The Empire is sending scouts across Australia!

Reminds me of the "rhino climb" Douglas Adams wrote about in Salmon of Doubt.. and that you always seem to have to do something *really* crazy to raise money for something good. But good on him!

Hi everyone.

Thanks for all the great comments regarding the trek! One of the fans on facebook sent me this link.

To answer a few questions;
I am going to have a support van for the nullabor and possibly some other sketchy sections. Better safe than sorry in my opinion, and I'll wager that the company will be appreciated

The nullabor in particular is a big hurdle. It crosses the centre strip of Australia along the southern coastline and as mentioned is pretty sparse. I'll be following the road not trekking the dunes. I am not the first person to walk across by far and as long as the right precautions are taken it shouldnt be a problem.

To the Aussie guys - I'd love some company for a km or 2 or even a friendly nod along the way! Hit me up on facebook or email and find out if I am heading past your way.
