I always blow up everything I find that's painted red (and therefore filled to the brim with highly unstable explosives).

[sub]Oh gawd, I just ended this post with a semicolon by accident. Too much Java, I think.[/sub]

being a total pack rat in RPGs like oblivion or Fallout 3
I never sell anything
my motto goes, why sell it, when I can just drop all my crap in the locker, and keep adventuring! (it got so bad that the framerate dropped whenever I opened that locker)

Discovering you could shoot hats off in RDR was the reason I spent so many hours with the game: More games need Hat Shooting.

running my thumb across the joypad buttons. They're so smooth o_o It annoys me because it end ups going back, or cancelling things or something silly.

Must...
mash...
CAPS LOCK

It's either tourette's or just an annoying habit but I love mashing that thing. And then I need to press it again if it's on when I finish.
Annoying in Bethesda games, or in the new Lara Croft, and caps default is EXPLOSIONS.

If a game has a character creation system, I will only ever use created characters.

If a game allows me to throw people, I will attempt to throw anything and everything into as many objects as possible.

If a game allows me to do BOTH, wonderful times ensue.

I specifically search out what I think is the right way and go the opposite in the vain hopes that there will be some shiney goody hiding right around the corner.

I hated selling weapons in games like fallout.
I would zealously collect and store every gun i found....
Hehe, same here, did you have them all categorized in your home too? Guns go in file cabinet, misc in locker, etc :p

Starting over. I have a wee little perfectionist streak in games and if something isn't going just so for me, then I will start the entire level over.

My brother is like that and he will also spend countless plays gathering up all necessary items to level up.

I have this strange habbit of unleashing Duke Nukem one liners when met with a large group of enemies or boss fight. The first thing I said in Dead Space 2 was "Damn. Those necromorph bastards are gonna pay for shooting up my ride..." and when I get a new suit: "Damn! I'm lookin' good!"
Also, whenever a game gets annoying I say in that same voice: "***** 'em.", a one liner that I never quite understood but enjoyed none the less.
Also, I always drink coffee when playing PC games.
Oh, and in RPG-ish games (the few that I play) I will always go for the damaging super attack level ups instead of the other ones.

I'm also a compulsive reloader. My friend is as well. When playing split screen our reloading animations will usually sync up perfectly >_>. In Oblivion I jump everywhere...I can't help it. Also, if a game has a double jump feature, I will always double jump.

I am obsessed with character clothing and customization! When I was playing Oblivion I probably spent 2 hours on the character I wanted.

I too have the need to abuse the jump button, the OCD reloading, stockpiling everything for 'later' (read: never)... but I also have this odd thing where when I come to a crossroad or even just a tree blocking a completely straight path, I have to go a certain way. For example, to the left. And if in that instance I accidentally go right instead, I will have to back the heck up so I can then pass to the left of the damn tree before carrying on my merry way. It makes games like Fallout and Oblivion, which is nothing but trees and random objects for most of the exploration, an OCD nightmare. :'( Doing it with Assassin's Creed now too.... Makes those damned timed challenges even harder. Dx

"Right, I'm on the rooftops, and I've got to get here alllll the way over there in 30 seconds... Oh look, there's an archer, let's pass the the right of him... *passes to left instead, due to sudden awkward movement* ...No Ezio! The right dammit! THE RIGHT!" *sighs* >_>

Making sure everything is organised, has its place. In new vegas each storage container has only specific items.

I'm also a hoarder, I don't like getting rid of things at all.

-Reload after every instance of shooting, it's pretty compulsive I think it just happens now.

-Hoard everything, if it's got a value and can be kept in a form of storage...store it! My Fallout 3/NV houses have containers full of guns, armour and random items I'll probably never use but have anyway. I'd be a wasteland billionaire if I sold the crap I didn't need.

-Save the good stuff for later...then never use it, you never know when you might need to use your special weapons/items on a tough boss, then you finish the game and the weapon has full ammo still.
