However, having rewatched the trailer it is quite impressive just how much further they took the concept.

See, that's what happens when you let real fans take charge of a video game movie, no matter what direction they want to take it! It actually becomes awesome!

This article didn't mention the huge Capcom support this video has. Outside of Three Street Fighter 4 VAs being involved, E. Honda was played by their public relations assistant. The fact a fan film had such a backing from the original company is something you don't see too often.
