Hello dear Escapists, I was wondering if you could help me with something.
Recently I officially started the first classes for my BA (or is it BSc? I don't know) in Psychology, and the professors saw fit to throw a SHITLOAD of work my way, right off the bat.
Not easily discouraged, I sat myself down with a nice big glass of lemonade and a nice, heavy book. After an hour or so I felt like listening to some music while studying, but I found that most music I like is more distracting than anything else.
However, after a while, Eric Satie's Trois Gymnopedies came past, and this was actually a blessing for my concentration. So now I'm sitting here, Trois Gymnopedies and Six Gnossiennes on repeat, and I'm getting a bit bored with playing the same two songs at infinitum.
Therefore, my question to you is: what kind of music would you recommend in this context?
