Stuff you thought when you were a Kid

Hmmm when I was a teen I was a huge doormat for girls and thought they actually liked me. Now I know better and chilled the fuck out after high school and stopped going after girls that were clearly not interested.

As for more childish things, I used to think TV sitcoms were real people they followed around filming.

I also thought for the longest time that girls and boys had the same thing going on down there so when I saw my first vagina at the age of 7 it blew my mind.

I thought boobs were a weird mutation that only girls got but for some reason I was sexually attracted to them.

I thought for, don't know how long, that it was possible to shove a propeller into your back, and then use it to fly. Luckly I didn't try it out. If you're Swedish, you probably know where I got the inspiration.

I was also quite the philosopher when I was young, thinking that none of what I was living through, actually existed, that I was just dreaming the entire time.

I used to think that my toys cleaned my room while I was asleep. But after I stumbled upon Chuckie at 8 I thought they were all going to murder me if I didn't pay attention to them. That's why I slept with a big pile of toys on my bed until I was about 12.

When walking with dinosaurs first came to television i thought they had brought dinosaurs back to life and were documenting there behaviour, then my dreams were dashed of having a pet T-rex when my mum told me the truth. I wish she just let me dreamed.

Oh and i was afraid of pools in the dark because it might have a whale in it, and it might eat me. Yeah another weird one and to this day i find whales creepy.

Oh yes this!! I love swimming and i'll still swim in dark pools but my mind always imagines some dark sea monster in the deep end of the pool, just watching me swim and waiting to eat me

Oh and it's not weird at all, I find whales kind of creepy too. They're so mysterious and they're so huge for what seems like no reason at all. A picture of a whale in DEEP water with darkness below it always disturbs me.

What really creeps me out is there whale song, it makes ocean sound so empty and lifeless.

EDIT: I also thought that people with the same surname must be direct family with each other. Then I found out that my P5 teacher and a girl in my church were not in fact mother and daughter.

I used to think Euthanasia was pronounced Youth in Asia and that it was a charitable organisation. I remember being really confused as to why everyone was up in arms about these youth in asia clinics that where trying to end the suffering of the poor asian children.

I have since learnt I was a bit off the mark :S

While I had fairly good grasp about how sex worked at an early age, I was a bit confused on the actual procedure. For example, I thought that when a couple wanted to have a child, they went to the doctor, and the doctor helped them put the penis in the vagina, after which they would simply wait for the semen to eject, like they were getting a shot or something.
