I think an obvious one is "KP BRAND PEANUTS" on the back label it says "Warning may contain nuts".

at that moment i facepalmed and enjoyed the salty nuts.
Which makes perfect sense, seeing as peanuts are peas, not nuts. There might be traces of nuts in there too, which could fuck with people's allergies.

And yeah, it's pretty sad we (some of us anyway) live in a society where this practice is necessary. But it does make for good humour.

I always thought of them being called that because they are shaped like pea's, here's a picture to see what i'm talking about.

Occasionally you get the real wall-bangers like "contents may be hot after heating". It wouls seem that common sense is significantly less common than we'd like to believe.

Nope, it's the other way around. They're peas that look like nuts. I could throw a lot of technobabble (but real) at you, but the easiest way to convice oneself is to look at how they grow (at least if you're familiar with how peas and beans grow in contrast to how nuts grow). Try googling it.

At least they warned you beforehand.

LMAO. That is probably the most epic fail ever. It must be fake.
The only fake thing here is the blanked out bottom part. It should say "Also, bridge out ahead".

I was going to make some burritos, and got out the wraps for them. On the packet, I saw a large warning label on it saying "Warning! Product becomes hot when heated!".
So, the question I pose to you is, what is the stupidest instructions/warning labels you have found on products?
EDIT: Sorry, didn't mean to put it in gaming discussion :p
this is actually an important label. i know someone who heated something in the microwave, got burn and sued the company successfully because the product didnt have that label.

Whenever I see a stupid warning label, I always think to myself "Good God, that means someone has actually done this!"

OT: I hate it when instruction manuals tell you how to do something that's common sense. i.e. how to fasten your seat belt on a plane, or my favorite, how to turn on your console. I could just imagine: "Yay! I finally got my [insert console name here]! Wait a minute....HOW DO I TURN IT ON?! NOOOOOOO!"

On the side of poptarts boxes, they demonstrate how to put the poptarts into the toaster, and how to operate the toaster (here's a hint, push the switch down)

Well I did not know that. Thank you for telling me this, so I may be more intelligent. Still seems kinda stupid though, but whatever. :p

I think my airsoft gun was made by someone new to English. On the side it says "Do not point at the creature" What is "The Creature" it is referring to? Is it a monster sent by the company that will get me while I sleep?
