I once saw a picture of a sign saying "Caution! Water on road during rain!"

Edit: No, that was not what it said. Corrected!

All those game that inform you to "Press [relevant button] to [relevant action]". Most often being "Press the FIRE button to fire".

most of these warnings have nothing to do with stupidity, it has to do with litigation and legal action. I remember seeing a Halloween costume that says "Warning: Suit does not enable wearer to fly"

Its all about lawsuits, some dummy puts a cup full of hot coffee in their lap to put sugar in it, spills it, sues, wins a million dollars. so these warnings are here to prevent stupid people from suing to reward there own stupidity

That pisses me off in Metal Gear Solid 3. I've got a copy of the game without the manual, still not sure if the reason grabs aren't working is because I'm pressing the wrong button or because my timing is off.

This isn't really instructions but once on Deadliest Warrior it was the Viet Cong vs SS Waffen and they were comparing the pistols, the guy said about the Tokarev "It forces the user to slow down, take his time, take a shot. He's gonna get more deadly kills", bearing in mind this is a supposed EXPERT!

My dad just told me about a sign in the Bristol Moors (Which is in the middle of nowhere) with the words 'Do not throw stones at this sign' on it. Not sure if its real or not as he saw it on a tv show a long time ago.

I think an obvious one is "KP BRAND PEANUTS" on the back label it says "Warning may contain nuts".

at that moment i facepalmed and enjoyed the salty nuts.
Hehe, salty nuts. I was about to mention something saying "May contain nuts".
But instead I'll talk about that guy who microwaved his poodle because he couldn't find instructions NOT to.

That still doesn't make them less funny, though

Yeah, I heard about that. Didn't he sue the company? Or is that just myth?

OT: I know that there's something, it's in the back of my mind, so I'll come back and post it once I remember it.
I'm pretty sure he sued. What a solid case he has too. "You didn't tell me not to do it!"

Our teacher recently got a gun license and bought a gun in America. In the included manual leaflet, it says: "Do not hit people with handle of gun"

LOL!

I can't recall the exact wording, but it was something to do with a vegetable along the lines of "Do not put whole carrot in mouth"

Yes.... Really.
Zippos ship with something similar.

OT: A sledgehammer that stated "Warning: this device can be used as a lethal weapon"

A H&K USP airsoft carries the label "Warning: Made in Taiwan | Refer to owners manual"
