Suggest me a challenging game.

The X-Wing series. I just reinstalled them for this very reason (again!). Some missions still take me a bunch of tries to beat and I've been playing those games since 1993. Sure they don't look so pretty now, but the game play is absolutely first rate!

Battletoads for the NES.

Even on an emulator with save states its piss hard.

Now i'm looking for a game with some genuine challenge, something somewhat difficult that would entertaining , and challenge skill and mind.

I'll pose that there exist no games that do that.

There's a few strategy and puzzle games that really test your mind and there's tons of action games that require good twitch skill, but there's no game that does much of both.

RTS games come closest, but you specified you don't want that type of game.

Bullet hell shooters would be excellent for you. The Touhou series (for PC) and Ikaruga (for XBLA and PS3) are excellent examples of them. The key behind beating these games is to tactically dodge the projectiles coming out at you. Sometimes there's even hundreds of projectiles at a time. You'd like it.

no one said demons's souls because i don't got a PS3 only an xbox 360 , can't wait for dark souls though

Really? you think ? okay what RTS would you suggest then?

Supreme Commander 1. Even the campaign mode is tough compared to the alternatives. It's have you think fast on your feet and issuing commands like mad.
Arguably Blizzard RTS games require even more frantic aiming and clicking in addition to planning and countering your opponents moves (against good players), but that's mostly due to archaic interface design.
SupCom has a better UI, but the huge scope of the battlefield will demand alot from the player.
