Danny Trejo [http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001803/] as Lobo [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lobo_(DC_Comics)].
yes... wholly.

Also Gordan Freeman is not a comic superhero. That'd be a game movie.

Reeves as John Constantine pissed me off so much.
If they were going to do another film aiming to be an actual Constantine story, then maybe they should ask Sting.. In one of those weird coincidences.

Vin Diesel as Judge Dredd.

I'll buy my tickets the minute they announce that particular bit of casting.

qbert4ever:
Tom Cruise as Cap?
Really, I don't like either of them and even then I think that's a bad idea.

PurpleRain:
Danny'd make a good Nathan Hale as well. Talk about irony.

Eyclonus:
Sting for Constantine is actually a pretty good idea, weird.

Khell_Sennet:
Gambit should always be off-screen and voiced by Jean Reno.
Maybe they can show a gloved hand or a glint of his coat to the side.

Deathstrike ('s sad appearance) was in X-Men 2, Kelly Hu didn't really have a chance to actually play the character, did she? But yeah, Yeoh!

Statham as Cable would be perfect.

Also:
An arthouse Sandman movie
Dream of the Endless should obviously be played by Neil Gaiman himself.
Death should only be played by Lori Petty, that'd be a great fit.

Colin Farrel as Tommy "Hitman" Mohanghan, definitely. Has the whole loveable rogue thing down pat by now.

Actually, it was a deliberate choice on the part of the original artist.

Jason Statham is not that talented, and the only way he could play Cable or Thor is if he not only used steroids but also changed his entire appearance, which defeats the purpose of casting considering you have totally different person now.
I dunno, aside from a massive wig needed for Thor, he has the build and the height. For that role, the only thing Statham truly lacks is the accent. Mind you, I don't know of too many A-List actors with a strong nordic voice.

Cable on the other hand, I see no flaw with using Statham. And he may be a niche actor, only good in action or comedy, but he is damn good at those two roles. We're not exactly asking him to do a romantic drama or suspense film here.
He definitely has a better shot at Cable, but Cable has the appearance of a sixty year old man with the build of Vinnie Jones.
Jason Stathom is better in his roles in Guy Ritchie films, no way will I ever take him seriously as an action star, let alone a super hero. Cable looks like a Bruce Willis on steroids. Think about it.

You know, after thinking about it a bit, Dane Cook would probably make a better Deadpool than Ryan Reynolds. I mean, don't get me wrong, I think Reynolds is a better actor hands down, but he always plays his characters more...how can I put this...'smartassedly' crazy, whereas Dane Cook's characters are usually more 'dickishly' crazy, and Deadpool's always struck me as being more, well, being more of a straight up jerk than being just smartalec-y.

Anyway, I always though that Cillian Murphy would make a pretty awesome Carnage, which is more supervillian, but yeah.

Oh my f**king gods...

I just had the best (worst) idea ever...

R. Lee Ermey (the drill sergeant from Full Metal Jacket) as Professor Xavier, doing his traditional in-your-face drill sergeant behavior instead of Patrick Stewart's "Mr Nice Mutant" routine.
I'm laughing so hard I'm getting tears. "I'm in your mind, numbnuts!" Certainly gives new meaning to "skull-fuck."

Doctor Strange - Robert Downey Jr
It would be complicated to do something like that seeing as RDJ is already Iron Man. People who don't know much about comics would think there is some sort of "twins separated at birth" scenario going on.

So Ryan Reynolds is Deadpool? Well, after watching Blade Trinity and seeing him as Hannibal King...yeah, I guess I can see it. He'd have to up the crazy and violence a little though, and he'd probably have it spot on.
My thoughts exactly. I think he'll be great.
My only problem is that in the pictures I've seen he looks like himself and not like Deadpool, who looks like the south end of a north facing babboon.

Poor guy; it must be tough married to Scarlet Johannsen.

Ed Norton? He has been known to sport the goatee...oh fuck he's already Bruce Banner. Fucking Hulk.

And to those saying Dane Cook v. Ryan Reynolds. No way. From what I've seen Deadpool and Ryan Reynolds fit almost perfectly. Screw Dane Cook's squeaky-ass shouting nonsense.

Third Batman movie - Michael Clarke Duncan as Penguin.

Don't argue.
That would be... interesting, to say the least.

Actually, I think Patton Oswalt would be pretty good as The Penguin. He'd probably need some makeup, a prosthetic nose (Danny DeVito had one, no?) but I think he could pull it off.

Now, I know a lot of people say Hugh Laurie should play Gordon Freeman if there is a Half Life movie. However, I present to you ladies and gentlemen:

Don't remember the movie he was in, but when I first played Half Life I thought Gordon Freeman did look a lot like Charlie Sheen in that movie that I can't remember...

[edit] Okay a quick imdb search later and I did find the title of the movie. Here is the link [http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0115571/]. Basically it's about him being a scientist and aliens are out to get him for something.
actually your right he does look like Gordon Freeman, freaky.
and he even wears orange on those pics.
