Damien dropped the plane thing, just barely avoiding the helicopter. He brought it back up again saying. "Hey! You trying to kill us or save us?"

"Supergirl will have to be fine til we get out of here!' Ryan yelled just before Damien dropped the plane to avoid half of a helicopter that had come flying towards them. As they rose back up, he gazed in stark horror at the thing who had assailed their pursuers. A sick, sinking feeling, spread in the pit of his stomach. Although it didn't look anything like either of the maniac's first two embodiments, it was clear to Ryan that the hideous figure behind them was none other than Ray.
"If it's possible for you two to make us go any faster, than please do." he said to Damien and Kris in a level voice. He knew they were doing their best, but even their best didn't seem to be moving them away fast enough. The helicopter pilots, seeing their peril, had all swerved around and set their focus and firepower on Ray. Now was the best chance the fleeing group of supers would get to escape.

If Damien can control gravity, couldn't he just make the gravity around their plane move in whatever direction they want to go? Seems like that would be much faster then the current system, just sayin'.
terrible looked on as a figure came up behind the chase scene between the choppers and the airship and spewed a massive blade cutting a copter in half like it was nothing
"wow that was pretty cool but I think I can do one better" terrible said chasing after the airship charging a ball of lightning between his hands before releasing it, it traveled at titanic speeds landing directly on one of the helicopters sides engulfing it electricity as the distinct sounds of circuits overloading and warning signals flaring as the copter started emitting smoke and falling towards the ground at a rapid pace before crashing into the ground with a loud explosion blowing the helicopter to pieces.

Damien slammed his front foot down, riding the platform like a snowboard. It instantly accelerated. "Yo, Amy! Ryan! Kris! make sure nothing hits the platform! Right now I'm only concentrating on moving this hunk of metal!"

She felt pity swell- pity that, while little had happened to her except alter her eye colour, Ray had been swallowed completely by his abilities. This worried her as well, though; would she become like him? Or would her power somehow permit her to remain... whatever she was?

Dark Mist smiled as the helicopters opened fire on it, it continued to fly towards the machines allowing the bullets to riddle it's body. As each explosive shell of the choppers minguns collided they took a small portion of the misty flesh away, however the damage did little to stop Dark Mist. It's arm sharpened into a fine point and launched into the windshield of the leading chopper, impaling the pilot through the stomach. In a swift motion it pulled the man's carcass towards it, the body tearing and deforming as it was yanked through the small opening.
"Whats this?"
Much to Dark Mist's surprise the man wasn't dead, only skinned with a few broken bones. It smiled as it lunged it's teeth into the mans open wound and began to tear away at the man's skin, slowly eating the man alive.
"Just try and keep this thing in the air." Since Damien shifted the gravity, he wasn't needed to help propel the platform forward. Now he could try and do something about the enemies. He was too worn out to try his lightning trick and swinging his sword around probably wasn't a good idea with so many people around him. Then he though about his guns. The two semi-automatic pistols he had carried until he passed out in Damiens underground haven. Those would really be good about now...
And with that thought, two small bursts of blue fire ignited around his hands. Just as quickly as the fire had appeared, it dissipated and Kris now held pistols in his hands. He looked down and was surprised to see not his FN USG model pistols but something that resembled .50 Desert Eagles. "Whoa..."Kris held up the weapons and was surprised at how light they were, he didn't know what happened to his other pistols but right now, he didn't really care. He had weapons to help fend off the enemies and thats all that mattered at the moment.
Kris eased both weapons up and hoped that he would be able to fire the powerful weapon without dislocating his shoulder, He knew the recoil was powerful on these types of gun. He squeezed the trigger and braced himself for the hit. There was a loud bang, a shot was fired from one of the guns. Kris barely felt any recoil. Again he was astonished with the guns. The guns had been bound to him just like his sword, but did that change the weapon this much? He wasn't sure, but he didn't have any other explanation. He now had two very powerful handguns with barely any recoil and by the looks of the helicopter he was aiming at, they were still as powerful as regular .50 cal magnums.
All he did was grin and start firing rounds into the few aircraft that had followed them instead of stopping to fight a creature that Kris didn't see very well.

It will most likely involve Dark Mist skinning WM, then eating him while WM is alive and screaming. If you have read the death scenes I have written in the past they are usually gruesome and disturbing. Yet again it's not like you have a major say in how I kill WM, for all you know I might just kill him with a swarm of wild rabbits. 0_o
Well I am. But I've got little else to say but "Cathy is having a bit of power crisis at the moment. We will return you to your regularly scheduled superheroin after a short intermission". I'd thought we'd have gotten into the forest by now to be honest.

Ryan turned briefly and gazed at the approaching dark mass on the shoreline. They were getting farther and farther away from the battle, and closer to the forest. Soon they'd be home free, or close to it. At least they'd be relatively safe from the Company in there. He shuffled up beside Kris and cleared his throat as the last helicopter that had followed them spiraled downward. "Hey, man, thanks for catching her. Not that I wouldn't have, I mean, just..." he trailed off, then shook his head and turned away, walking over to Amy and Cathy to see what was the matter with their Super Heroin.
"Yeah... Yeah, sure," Amy said, breathing heavily- both from the stress of the shield she cast around the aircraft, as well as the growing adrenaline that kept her functioning. Seeing that the last helicopter has been downed, she lowered the golden sphere, which faded, leaving the sky much darker.
Brushing her hair out of her eyes, she jogged over to Cathy with extreme caution as the ship rocket back and forth unreliably. As she reached the hero, Amy placed a hand on her forehead. She felt warm, even by Amy's standards. She turned, looking to Ryan. "She's not doing well, Ryan!" she yelled, over the roaring wind. Almost there, she though, casting a glance toward the trees as they finally passed over land. Now the problem became- how do they land this thing?

"No worries."Kris said as he spun his new weapons and made them vanish in a burst of blue fire. The helicopters were now too occupied with the dark mass that could barely be seen in the night sky. Kris had a bad feeling about it so he tried not to think about it too much, chances are that they would find out sooner or later what that thing really is, so thinking about it now would only make him worry.
Kris looked over the edge of the platform and saw that they just passed the first few trees of the forest, Damien really knew how to make this thing move fast. Now that they were pretty much home free, they just had to land this thing. Which would prove to be tricky considering a forest isn't a great place to find an open spot to land a big platform. they would either have to bring this thing down to tree level and jump down or find a clearing. Kris preferred the latter of those choices.
