Name:Chris Miller
Appearance: Aged 21, Chris stands at 5'10" and has a thin toned build. His only clothing habit is a white DC hat that covers his messy hair. Has grey eyes.
Powers: Can infuse objects with an explosive tendency, the infused objects glow a deep blue. Has honed a way to use his powers to add a force behind his punches and kicks, to give them more of a boom effect.
Bio:Born in Arizona, Chris was brought up and schooled at home, he only had one friend growing up, but after he discovered his power and nearly blew his friends arm off, he was quickly abandoned for normal people.
This new hatred for people led him into exile. Years later he resurfaced with a total control of his power. He now lives in New York working as a demolition expert, no-one ever found out how he could destroy something so quickly.

Since most people have very similar powers to each, I decided to be original and copy Gambit rather than other people

Name: James Roberts

Appearance: Aged 20, James stands at around 6'2" and is stocky and well-muscled. His dark blonde hair sweeps to one side across his forehead, stopping just above his blue eyes. He can usually be found wearing Converses with black jeans and a white t-shirt.

Powers: Can generate electrical currents and lightning bolts

Bio: Born in London, James moved around the country with his parents, following his father's job obligations. The constant movings to new schools made sure that James was always seen as the outsider and he ended up spending a lot of time on his own. On one of his solitary outgoings, aged 16, he was followed by three bullies from his current school who had been picking on him. Despite running, he wasn't fast enough to escape and was caught by them, getting a beating in the process. As they walked away from him, he noticed flickers of electricity crackling between his fingers. Extending his hand at their backs, only wanting to shock them, James was horrified when they exploded into clouds of ash. Soon, the family moved away, but the memory haunted James. On his 18th birthday, he ran away and has been drifting ever since, now working as an electrician in New York city.

The whole power from SSS's RP has kinda rubbed off on me. But without the added insanity...

Appearance: Age 22, height 5"11, thin build. Black, messy hair that comes down around his ears, clean shaven. He has a fair, kinda pale complexion, and dark green eyes. He typically wears faded bluejeans, a dark colored t-shirt, and his favorite brown hoodie. His shoes are an old worn out pair of brown DC's that he's had since college, that are fast approaching their due-date.

Powers: Has the ability to "liquefy" any solid object that comes into contact with his skin. The object will take on a gelatinous consistency, and can then be molded and shaped, hardened, softened, and generally controlled by him, as long as he is touching it. As soon as he releases it, the object regains it's form. It takes a bit of concentration to maintain, so naturally the larger the object the harder it will be to "liquefy" it.
It's not just a reaction to his skin, since he wills it himself, and can easily touch objects normally if he wants to. It can be triggered by instinct however, such as when he is surprised, so he usually wears gloves when he's out in public.

Bio: Ryan grew up a slacker in a family full of over-achievers. Most of his friends were the same way, always working hard to reach their "life goals". As he went drifted through high school on C's and D's, his friends and family raced passed him withing flying colors and big plans. After he barely graduated, he spent a year shifting back and forth between jobs, until he finally decided he should go to college. The one thing he had been fairly good at was drawing, so the best option, he assumed, would be to get an art degree. So he left for the big city, to go to art school.
Even with his parents paying for part of enrollment, art school wasn't cheap, and he wasn't a good enough worker to get a well-paying job. After getting fired twice in a year, he found he just didn't have the money to pay for anything. He was forced to drop out of school. By this point his family was shunning him, but he hated them anyway. So he rented a small apartment, found a job stocking shelves at a grocery store, and went back to doing what he did best; slacking.

1) I'm going to say that the mind reading only works on non-powered people, unless they let you (by OOC or something). You can try it on the characters I control, but nasty things might happen...

2)minions are fine, as long as they are in sufficiently sane number and aren't over-powered. Perhaps if sustaining the minion took some of your strength it would help keep them under control

Appearance: Amy stands at 5"5', her body quite slim and fit. Straight blonde hair reaches her mid-back, but is usually braided and slung over one shoulder. At the beginning of this story, she is wearing a pair of jean shorts, high-heeled sandals with white straps, and a black V-neck short-sleeved T-shirt with a hood attached.
Powers: Amy has power over what she personally believes to be starlight; she is able to light her skin in an exceptionally bright, golden-white light, which she can either dim to about the brightness of any campfire, or flare almost as brightly as the sun, causing temporary blindness. She is also able to concentrate this light into a beam as thin as her wrist, which can burn through flesh quite easily, or even slowly melt through metal doors.
Bio: Amy was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada into a middle-upper class family with both happy parents and two older sisters. Her life was rather carefree and joyous until the death of her mother a few months after Amy's 12th birthday. Since the incident, she has become a bit of a more serious and reclusive person, though her years in university have recently begun to help her 'open up'. She still remains a kind and warm-hearted person, and regularly tries to put other people's safety above her own. Amy is currently studying her third year in university for the performing arts (playing piano, as well as violin) and a minor in history.
