For the sake of a bump I think I shall write this.

Dark Mist moved through the ground, its body became like liquid as it moved through the cold earth. The fleshy tissue was beginning to regenerate, slowly reforming into its pale complexion. The teeth shot out, arching like fangs. Behind the massive shadow multiple tentacles extended outwards, flailing as Dark Mist's hair did. On one of the tentacles Alex's head was scrapped against the rock dirt, rendering the flesh from the Neko's head. The energy signature was getting stronger, but there appeared to be two of them. One from its original direction, the other about a quarter mile away.

"This is why I hate choices, if I pick one the other might get away." The Mist thought to itself as it traveled, until a dubious idea popped into its head. Its mind warped and shook violently, tearing apart the consciousness of the prisoner inside. Dark Mist unleashed a massive mental attack, stronger then what Ray had managed to pull off. As it released the mental attack the tentacles shot from the ground, appearing from the earth like pillars of darkness.

You'd better be, otherwise my aggressive tendencies will get the best of me and then I will most likely eat you.

That reminds me, have you been sticking with this? You had one of the shorter lived characters, (I wouldn't be surprised if Alex wore a red shirt), yet you seem to be posting more then some of the players at this moment. What gives? Don't you have another one of my RP's to join? [sup]*Cough* Shameless advertising *Cough*[/sup]

But my point still stands, are you...STALKING ME?! >_>

<spoiler=OOC> I'm in 3 RPs, I don't think I can manage more than that...and maybe I am.

She gasped for breath, Terrible's hand clutching at her trachea, cutting off her air. She couldn't breath. She couldn't! She clawed at his hand, trying to decrease the force of the grip but... too strong...

"Poor Cathy... So weak, so pathetic. It's almost pitiable," he chuckled evilly, "Almost."

She went for the only option she had left. She delivered a kick forwards, directly into the place that no man should be hit. He keeled over in pain and she fell to the ground, the air rushing back into her empty lungs.

His pain subsided far later than her debt and she pushed forwards. The advantage was hers to be had. Now that he had been hurt, she could get hits in. She lunged forwards with the knives, swinging both at him. He narrowly dodged one, the other barely drawing blood as he jumped back.

He reached up and brushed the blood from his head nonchalantly. "You want to make it serious Cathy?" Both of his hands burst into electrical life and he chuckled again. "Let's get serious."

He's still treating it like a game... I'll just have to teach him a lesson this time. But don't underestimate him...

I've got it!
The knives disappeared, replaced this time by a rubberised bracer, with a sharp piece of metal sticking out into a blade, on each extremity. Perfect against the electric he was using! She didn't want to resort to her final plan yet. She would only do that if she couldn't pull a victory. But for now, she'd gauge how he handled the fight now.

They both charged, predictably, and began exchanging blows. A charged punch here and there was no problem for her now that she could stop them, but she couldn't get hits in either. They both kept attacking, Terrible staving off fatigue by running a pulse of electricity across himself. But Cathy? It was all adrenaline and determination.

She made a bold move, kicking up at his head. The kick connected perfectly, finding a gap in his defence and sending him crashing to the ground. She took the next chance, continuing the kick arcing downwards towards him.

He rolled, the sharp blade sticking into the ground and leaving a gash in the earth where his head had just been.

Might be edited in the future depending on whether Terry can throw together a post and put it up. If not, expect more fighting and a react to Nuke's crazy mind power.

I got hit with the same goddamn virus as I did a few months ago, which rendered me unable to post for the past week. It's better now though. :)

Just a question though, Nuke- did the brain blast hit our group, or Cathy?

Yay! you're back! =D

OT: I assume it would have effected everyone in some sense, but it's up to you. I really have no idea where I am going with this...

Oh, you made it into Master: The Pokemon RP by the way. Congratulations on beating me once more.

I was hoping you'd get in... :[ Well, I guess we can't stalk each other forever, can we?

And alright! I'll just make Amy suffer. :D We definitely need to have an epic light/dark battle royale.

Amy, Ryan, and Kris had continued the painful trek, moaning and groaning as their legs quivered like rickety chairs, unstable and willing to snap. Had the feild bore worse footing, any one of them might have missed a step and fallen- but they remained lucky, so far.

Of the three, it seemed Amy- from her perspective- was faring the best. Ryan continued to suffer from the wounds she had inflicted upon him earlier, and clearly his body was not of the fittest state to endure so much running. She had the advantage this time- she was born and raised by mountains, hiking frequently in thinner air. Despite the smoke from the raging forest fire and the flatness of the terrain, she felt at home, running with the wind to brush the hair and sweat from her face.

But something new rapidly approached, something stronger than ever before. Though her feet struck nothing, she fell to her knees, feeling suffocated. She drew heavy gasps, feeling her mind burn as though the fire from behind them had intruded into her head. Reaching upward, she clenched at her hair, gritting her teeth and shutting her eyes. The mental attack was stronger than any previous, and though small traces of Ray lived within it, the experience was mostly foreign. It was a greater darkness, more feral and wild than Ray had ever conjured. Something was unsettlingly wrong with the man.

The pain began to subside, and Amy eased her eyes open, and lowered her hands. However, something fell within her tight grip. Looking to her right hand, her body stiffened and her breath froze inside her chest. A small tuft of blonde hair weaved through her fingers. Either she had pulled it loose when she had gripped her head in pain, or else...

She looked to the other two men around her. Both experienced the same pain as her, bent over and scratching at their brains. Uneasily, she stood, her legs trembling, and loosened her grip. The strands of golden hair casually drifted to the ground, landing among the grass peacefully. Amy bit her lip, and turned back.

"Kris... Ryan," she said, her glowing eyes searching the field they had just crossed. After a long hesitation, she slowly turned, looking to Ryan. She smiled warmly.

"...Good luck."

Before either of the two had the chance to recover, she quickly bolted into the tall grass, vanishing completely. Feet pounding heavily on the solid ground, she ran, faster than she had ran all night.

Toward Ray.

It's what I get for wanting to make another evil character, maybe when the auditions open up again I'll try out again. But hey! I did make it into the castle, along with the creation of a Sci-Fi epic and I made a sheet the rivals the length of what you normally make. I say life is good.

I'm going to be sad once Surge ends and Surge 2 begins, this was the first RP I ever joined and it shows all the progress I made, but I suppose all good things most come to an end...

I'm looking forward to the closing fight though, may the best writer(most likely you) win.

As the body of shadows moved up from the cold earth a calm breeze rolled by, thunder before a storm. The air filled with a heavy electrical presence as the fleshy face began to reform, in all of its hideous glory. Strands of shadows shot out from the shapeless gas, coiling around each other to form makeshift limbs. The new joints came to together with a crunch, snapping into the position were they would allow free movement. The fanged teeth moved down the arm towards the fists, turning from fangs to claws.

As beams of sunlight beat down on demonic figure the body released the poisonous smoke, slowly vanishing. A grim smile appeared on Dark Mist's face as a figure in the distance came running towards it.

Amy.

Rather then minless lunging at Amy Dark Mist roared it's arm back and threw what it had in it's possession at the girl, Alexander's head.
I just realized that for all the evil characters I have made I always use my own name...There's got to be something to this.

New beginnings though, right? ;] It actually really pleases me, looking back and seeing your progress. In the words of one wise Middle-Eastern man: Very nice!

Oddly, Amy could smell the decay and blood that coated Alex's head before it reached her. She swerved to the side as it passed, and time seemed to slow. Bits of gore and threads of skin flayed outward from the ruined body part as it flew by, dripping and staining the earth. Cringing, she could only force herself to move faster, toward whatever fate would meet her.

Dark Mist was visible only moments later, as the grass shrank in height. It was a truly terrifying sight to behold. Before her the monstrosity stood, moving forward, all darkness and nightmares knitted into a writhing commotion of claws and limbs. Mr Terrible's fire roared from behind him, having consumed a great portion of the forest, and now sat like a wall. No way out. Behind her, the sun slowly rose, casting her into a silhouette against the rising orb.

No way out.

As Dark Mist drew closer, Amy eventually slowed, adrenaline fuelling her, the sunlight beating strongly at her back like the support of a teammate. With its beams she felt her breath returning more easily, and her eyes focus. Approaching now at a walk, she clenched her fists and allowed the light to consume her, coating her skin in a soft glow and causing the beads of sweat that trickled down her face to shimmer like diamonds. Her hair seemed to lighten a few shades, and her eyes as well.

"You never cease to amaze me, Ray," Amy said finally, stopping in her tracks. Around her sneakers, the grass seemed to stiffen, then wither and droop.

"Until darkness should cover the Earth- is that it? ...You're a parasite, nothing more. Feeding on everything, until-"

Her voice faded as she searched the monstrosity's face, and slowly, realization dawned on her. Her shoulders drooped and she seemed to relax slightly, the breeze gently tugging at her hair and clothes.

"Oh, Ray," she whispered, her eyebrows curving upward in sorrow and pity. "What has it done to you...?"

She took a slight step forward. "Is Ray even in there, anymore?" Amy inquired to the hellish demon.

"That bumbling idiot? Please, I thought you would have figured that someone else was behind all that beautiful death and destruction. You honestly thought that a first day super could have so much control? So much power? You're a lot dumber then I would have expected."

Dark Mist chuckled as the center eye focused on Amy, pulsating between jet black and bloody red. It's arms shifted in a blade and a shield, both very capable of killing the the light controller. However Dark Mist didn't show any intention on killing the girl, at least not yet.

"When he ran or let you live that was him trying to fight back the inner darkness, when he tried to kill you and your boyfriend that was my actions. I guess you can call me a parasite, Ray was more of the host, not the most gracious one but he still provided with me with what I needed to get around."

It's an intimidating color dammit!

THE PURPLE!

"And now you've sucked him away," Amy finished quietly, in awe and fear of their strange and foreign power. As she surveyed this contorted form, she added, "Nothing's left of him, is there?"

She took a step forward, leaving a scorched footprint behind in the Earth. Her body began to glow more furiously.

As she moved, she winced, feeling her blood boil- more than it would if she were enraged, or embarrassed. Her heart pounded, threatening to burst free from her chest and explode, and pumped the molten blood at too furious a pace. But she remained upright, chin lifted, facing the Dark Mist with every ounce of strength she could muster.

"There's little I can say to convince you," she said aloud, though there was no need to inform him of this. "...But what does a parasite want here, of all places? To spread to more people?"

"Well, I wouldn't say he is all gone. He still remains locked away in my thoughts, screaming in agony." Dark Mist chuckled to itself as it looked in the hatred in Amy's eyes. "Would you like to hear him?"

Dark Mist opened it's mouth once more, but rather then the deep antagonistic tone a different voice whimpered out. Ray's voice. "I'm sorry..."

"I'm pretty sure he is, I could only imagine how badly he fells right now. All the people we killed together, Ray and I made quite the team didn't we? And I do not intend to infect more people, I am but one demon. If I just killed everyone on this forsaken plan of existence what would I have left to do with myself, sit around and play with the corpses?"

"No, I simply want to stick around and have my fun. That and feast upon delicious, blood soaked flesh."

I really hope my dedication to this character doesn't effect my attitude in real life. I would hate to wake up one day to find out that I just ate somebody.

Amy froze at the sound of Ray's voice. She had never known him as a man, truly- he was always a creature, an 'it', the villain of films and comic books that was only the essence of evil without regard for feelings. But this voice was pure pain. It felt impossible to believe this sort of an individual was capable of such emotion, and it frightened her to hear it.

Taking another small step forward, she began to glow a little more. Her face seemed pained, as though she was struggling not to sob at the thought. "Then I'm afraid I can't let you do that." She moved closer. Waves of heat emminated from her hands which burned like torches.

I'm afraid I can't let you do that Star Fox.

I had to find a giant robot to express my disdain right now, seriously...

I realized I went from Freddy Mercury to Alucard with this character, how my insanity drives me so.

Dark Mist chuckled as the heat evaporated portions of the smoke, slowly fading away the shadow. It smile faded away at a sudden thought, it had finally found its match. The sword elongated and spikes appeared from the shield, sharp enough to impale a person. The sword spun and twisted as would a drill, so fast it could destroy concrete.

"Worthless wench!"

It let out a growl as it charged, swinging it's weapons at the girl.

But I must depart for the night, it is too late for my liking.

[sup]Grrr...Just as the fight starts...[/sup]

You know you love my memes.

As Dark Mist lunged forward, a rush of wind ran to meet him. Amy grounded her feet and raised both hands, which began to glow painfully bright. She felt the warmth of the sun light her back, but she felt something... more. Something smaller, but somehow greater.

No... It can't be...?

She glanced upward. Everything about her seemed to slow, and the world grew larger by her perception. Though the sun had erased half the stars from the sky and the rest were rapidly fading, she could feel their heat, their light, and burning watch within herself. She felt among them, yet stranded... a star crashed to Earth.

And Dark Mist. He was the darkness of space, that filled all corners where the stars couldn't bring light. Where moons and stars, suns and reflections failed to bring comfort, he seeped through, owning the lifeless portions of space and time. And nothing held him at bay, except light.

Nothing but light.

Planting herself firmly into the ground, feet splayed far apart, she felt the light rise through her like a fountain, seeping through her skin and soaring outward. As Dark Mist charged toward her, he was greeted with a wide beam of golden starlight, brighter than the sun's distant rays.

I have been watching Doctor Who. So, STARS FOR THE WIN.
