Results to Escapist Forum Survey

OK so some of you may remember my fairly terribly spelt and set up survey I did earlier this week, at least I hope you did.
Any-ways I've changed some of the questions so that they make more sense and added some of the more silly mistakes (Namely the horrific amount of countries and consoles, missed out into the raw data so they are now a part of the visual results.)

So whilst I kept the survey active I received 99 responses, which I think is pretty good considering.
Therefore 99 Escapists are representing the whole (Scary right).

A fair few participants entered into the "Other" option here to mention that more than one option applied to them, sorry guys another cock up on my part.

I'm a huge fan of LoadingReadyRun and came here when Unskippable started.

So obviously many people were fans of people who contributed to the escapist or found the link through other websites.

And yes people I did know that a PC is not a console, however I felt that I should include the option as there are several PC gamers on the escapist.

These are all of the Cross Tabs I have done, however if there are any you would like to see that I haven't shown just give me a message or a quote (Snipped please) and I'll add it up for you.

Ok the last question was not something to be easily quantified, however I will give some of the results. Of the 99 participants only 54 answered the last question of those 54:

29 replied that there was no problem with the Escapist

4 Replied that they feel the forums need better forum moderation and 1 would like less "stupidity" on the forums.

4 would like better reviews/more "streamlined" news.

And 6 would like more pornographic content...guys seriously that's what googles for, type in tits and you're away.

Some quotes that don't quite match these areas:

People need to post the results of their surveys.
I see far too many blow through and then leave without publishing the results.

I'm not surprised about the frequency of visit chart.
What I am surprised at, however, is that more Brits visit this site then Americans, apparently.

According to your pie chart, pc fan-ism is slightly larger than console fan-ism, if you observe the middle of the line you will see a slight bend in Pc's favor. In a bloody war, they would win with enough remains to start a small settlement.

You have to keep in mind that I am British myself so the time zone in which I posted up the survey would be easier for Brits to reply to.
Plus it's only 99 users of all the Escapist.

Thanks, I think I messaged everyone, sorry if anyone got double messages.

I'm pretty happy to see that in the survey, a lot more gamers/escapists come from the UK than anywhere else, even if it does only cover 99 people, for some reason.

Also, why am I not surprised that Yahtzee takes up a big chunk of the 'how you found the Escapist' chart? xD

Seems that console-versus-pc gaming is actually really closely matched, too... I thought there'd be more of a bias towards console gamers...

That's some nice results, man. Well done. The region split, the console/PC split, all very interesting, Although I do find it exceptionally interesting that as many people own a SNES as do an original XBOX, and that Playstation has the highest tend for people to still own their prior systems when the new one comes out.

Huh, well done. Really, this is pretty awesome. You do suffer from a certain amount of procedural bias though, largely based on the TZ. For example, as a rule there are a higher proportions of PC users in the EU that NA timezones, which may go some way to explaining the surprisingly high amount of PC users.

But, these are quibbles. If there was a way to give you '+1' I would.
