I do find it exceptionally interesting that as many people own a SNES as do an original XBOX, and that Playstation has the highest tend for people to still own their prior systems when the new one comes out.

Thats to do with a cock up on my part, i didn't enter those choices originally on my results so it not really reliable.

Not surprised that most people came here because of Yahtzee.

One thing that made me curious was the 'preferred game' pie graph, how do you have a pie graph with results that add up to 230 odd percent?

You know I didn't even realise that, thanks for pointing it out. I have absolutely NO IDEA. I'll have to watch for that when I do this for real!

According to your pie chart, pc fan-ism is slightly larger than console fan-ism, if you observe the middle of the line you will see a slight bend in Pc's favor. In a bloody war, they would win with enough remains to start a small settlement.

And then argue about which OS to use.

I think the reason that you have more British than American's is due to the fact that you probably made the initial thread at a time at such there were alot more British users online (time zones). It's a good chart, but it could've been better if it had been at the top of the 'hot threads' for a number of days so you could have gathered more unbiased data. I realise this is hard, and by no means are you're efforts lost. It's good to see New Zealand is represented here!

You have to keep in mind that I am British myself so the time zone in which I posted up the survey would be easier for Brits to reply to.
Plus it's only 99 users of all the Escapist.

Also At the time I could only have a maximum of 100 participants and I had 99 so....
But you are right it would be interesting to do this survey properly

That didn't surprise me. What surprised me whas that there are more Americans here than Australians. It seems to me that most of the time people mention where they come from, it's Australia. Just goes to sow, you never can tell.
