Swearing?

I'm from the Netherlands, and the strange thing is we're so used to english movies, music and literature we use a lot of english swearing. It makes it sound less rough when swearing in another language, so words like shit, f*ck, an' things involving your mother are pretty standard and not considered real bad.

On the other hand, in our own language we like to throw diseases around, along the lines of " I hope u get 'disease of choice' " and it can get pretty rowdy.
I myself try to reserve it for when it's worth it, but lately when I feel pissed I just throw it out. Better than just building up tension inside you.

Well at first, I didn´t want too swear, or at least, to not go to far with it, I mean I love swearing but there are limits, the thing is, if all your friends say it frequently (or even 1 person) it gets into your system.

I swear very rarely- either as a rather severe form of emphasis (and even then its mostly just bloody or bugger) or when Im especially angry (but Im more likely to just go on a rather wordy rant)

Im from the southwest of England, in a small pocket of an extremely posh town in a very rustic and rural area.

Here in Finland, amidst my age class swearing is a regular, normal form of communication. Unless you begin your sentence with either "Fuck!" or "Shit!", you will be ignored.

This however raises problems as you never know when someone is threatening/insulting you for realz. That's why you need to use imagination, like: "I will rip your throat wide open, reach in and grab your large intestine, and make it into a bowtie I will use when i rape your mother at your funeral." Or something like that.

I probably swear at least once every two days.

I swear all the time when I'm not in the presence of other people. That is to say, I only swear either in my head or to myself when there's no one around.

When I'm with people I'm a lot more stoic. And even when I'm on the internet I try to keep my swearing as low as possible.

though I live in a medium where swearing is dominant in conversations, I do refrain myself from it. I only use "light" insults like "idiot", "moron" etc. (I use the term "light" because that's what they are for me; you don't want to hear the really bad ones used here).
so yeah, even those kept to a minimum, it gives me a smug satisfaction to (not) do this

Here in England swearing is pretty much part of speech. My dad doesn't really swear much however whenever my mum does she will always say "Excuse my French", that always used to confuse me when I was a little kid because I thought words like crap and shit were French.

Todays was "If it isn't the four cunts and a piano" (you know like the 4 poofs and a piano from Jonathan Ross?). Anyway, it didn't really work as there were only 2 of them and no piano.

I'm from the US and I swear when I feel it's appropriate to add a little intensity or urgency. I don't really know the exact last time I used a swear word... SO GET OFF MY FUCKING BACK!

I'm from Medford Oregon(USA)and I swear pretty frequintley most of the time for emphasis and to make people understand just how stupid they are the last time I swore was about half and hour ago when my teacher told me to stop goofing off and to get to work and I proceeded to show her I was done and told her fuck off and go make me a samich. People take cursing waaaay too seriously. It's just a fucking word!
