30 feet? I'm sorry, but in a pool like that, you should be able to rack up at least a hundred laps before considering it "exercise". Well, maybe that's because I've been swimming for a few years now. Keep at it, and you will get buff. Well, if my standards are too much, try to add a few laps to every workout you get, but 20-30 only adds up to, at max, 274-ish meters, which is about five laps in an Olympic pool, which probably won't give results for a very long time.
