Missed one the first time, but now sitting in 49th with 10/10.

It's hard to pick a favorite female character. Outside the most mentioned list above, April Ryan and Cate Archer came up and both are great. I wish someone would fund a NOLF3. The two games gave me some of the most fun I've ever had gaming. Also, Heather from Silent Hill 3. I also really like Tifa, because I identify with her in several ways. There are definitely more I'm forgetting.

10/10, 116th :(

I'm tossing in my hat for Lara Croft as greatest female character. She is amazingly intelligent and well read, kicks ass, takes names, plays by her own rules, doesn't let anyone or anything get in her way and she is sexy without being portrayed as a slut.

I got 40%, but to be 100% honest I didn't know even one answer, so I'm actually a bit surprised! As for Bayonetta here's a summary of the game in 30 seconds http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUc0OnmWnjs

Wow, 40%

Pleasantly surprised to see my favorite character right on the first question though.

Cool 44th Don't see that lasting long.

I can only pick one? '~' Ummm lets see I would have to pick Therese and Jeanette Voerman from Vampire: The Masquerade ? Bloodlines and if you'veplayed the game you kno why I have to put both =P
Therese and Jeanette Voerman definately take the trophy in my book.

I scored 2/10, I knew the Chrono Trigger and FF Tactics ones, botched the ambiguous Mirror's Edge one. Haven't played the others, except Parappa but I didn't really care about names in that one.

In general I'm really not all that interested in genderisms and video games offer very little else. I'm hard pressed to think of any real memorable characters that are memorable because of their character and not their function, male or female. If that doesn't matter, then Navi probably is the most memorable one ("HEY! LISTEN!"). Repetition does form memories after all.

40%. Epic failure on my part. The sad thing was I've played most of the games on the quiz. That is just how observant I am when playing video games. And I loved Tails until I found out that she was in fact a "he". Another epic failure on my part. So I would say Chun Li from Street Fighters or Blaze from Streets of Rage.
