I thought Muggles couldn't get anywhere near Hogwarts anyways, because of an area spell that made them realize something they needed to do if they got too close, so the question of what they saw threw me off.

.....*sigh* I'm a little disappointed in myself.
Helmet 100.0% (10/10) 0:58

Does that make you feel any better?

If I remember correctly, all of the answers can be found in the first book. I was hoping for a more difficult challenge, not a time trial (ranked 5th when I finished, btw).

Hate to sound like a geek but the real answer to no:10 is not there:
Muggles see ruins with a warning sign if they look at Hogwarts if I remember correctly. I chose "mountains" because out of the options that seemed the most likely.
Agree. I chose "library" for that same reason.

It's been a while, but I'm fairly sure that's what they made the charms for the World ***** Tournament (won't give away answers :)) in book 4. As above, for Hogwarts, I was under the impression it was a warning sign.

#6 right now.
Not as hard as I thought it would be, or am I just THAT good?

I'm embarrassed to say I got 100% on this quiz. I haven't read a Harry Potter book in at least 2 years and I haven't seen a movie since the first one. But I still finished in like a minute and aced it... lol. This stuff sticks with me for no apparent reason.

Pretty sure that they see a castle ruins and a sign with 'danger' written on it. Look on the Harry Potter wiki.

I'm terrible at these quizzes, I only got 70%. I watched the new film a few days ago so if it was JUST based on that film, I would have pwnd :D

Muggles see ruins if they look at Hogwarts! THE QUIZ IS WRONG!!!!!

I'll be quiet now.
I was thinking the same thing.
I wasn't sure if the expected answer would be "mountains" or "nothing" since all four answers were wrong anyway...

I have a Muggle t-shirt, so one of the questions was an automatic :)
Isn't Muggle in the dictionary nowadays? I know Hobbit is.
According to Webster, not yet.
Apparently it's in the Oxford English Dictionary [http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article1122750.ece] though.

  • [sub] * Muggle: invented by JK (Joanne Kathleen) Rowling (b. 1965), British author of children's fantasy fiction (see quot. 1997).

In the fiction of JK Rowling: a person who possesses no magical powers. Hence in allusive and extended uses: a person who lacks a particular skill or skills, or who is regarded as inferior in some way. [/sub]

It doesn't make sense for NOTHING to be there. What if one of them walked right into it?

Hurrah, I finnally got 100% on one of these quizzes - although I sure took my time, I had to go bacvk and re-do the hogwarts question; at first I thought it was mountains but then logic dictated it must be nothing as the muggles might still attempt to climb said mountain.
