100% first go! Although that seems to be the norm, so carry on.

Also, I'm not really sure what everyone's so worked up about the Meat Circus for; sure it was pretty stressful needing to save that idiot baby Oleander three consecutive times, but aside from that it was a veritable cakewalk. Even then, the only hard part was timing those swings from the swords, but people seem to forget you can levitate after swinging to make the gap. Also, rush the Arrowhead detector and Psi-magnet; makes the game easy as!
