I said something like, "Oh man, Miranda is so hot but I gonna have to go with Jack." I only remember that because my girl overheard me say that and not knowing what I was doing on the computer. She came at me like a FBI raid.

Running joke playing NCAA Football '99 on the old PlayStation 1:

"Here we go Re-Run, here we go!"

There was a cheap exploit in that game in which a slot receiver running a go route was pretty much an automatic touchdown in singleplayer (in multiplayer the counter was simply to control the strong safety directly and drop back into coverage) and I got really good at running that play.

Re-Run Matthews (a computer-generated player on my create-a-school Rocket State U team) now occupies a place in the Cyber-Athlete Hall of Fame alongside other great created or computer-generated players on sports game teams (there's a separate wing of the Hall for guys like Bo Jackson, Barry Sanders, and Jerry Rice.)

"Here we go Re-Run" also had the distinction of escaping into the wild and becoming a catchphrase with me and my friends---whenever something happened repeatedly someone would chant this when whatever it was happened again.

Well, when i'm playing a free-for-all style game in a fps, whenever i get a kill, no matter what time it is outside, i yell 'GOT HIIIIIIIIIIIIMM!!' at the top of my lungs.

When i'm in a Search and Destroy match on CoD, it gets so tense that when i die an uncomfortably loud 'fuck' is heard.. by my neighbours 3 doors down.

And just in general i yell at the screen when someone does something cheap or the host is migrating or my lag is so amazing that i dodged a barrage of bullets somehow XD

P.S. there's also the talking to the voices, but they get scared when i play games o_O

I say something to the effect of "I take a moral victory." whenever I lose, particularly if the enemy team were spawn-camping or something equally nefarious.

I also narrate all my games like I'm doing a Let's Play, even though I don't even know how to record one. That said, I narrate everything.

I don't, but I wish I did. I always remain rather detached from games. That is not to say that I'm not sad when some character dies or happy when it all works out, but I don't say those things aloud.

Perhaps I should teach myself.

All the time. Usually it's a long string of obscenities or a response to something good happening (OHHHH HEADSHOT! Proper FPS Doug style, too.) With other kinds of games (Think RPG, adventure games) I'll sometimes recite an upcoming section or a plan of what I'm going to do and then verbally 'tick off' each bullet point as I pass it physically.

I rage, terribly. I make the angry german kid look tame and mellow. It's a serious problem :/ AND THE BLOODY HIT DETECTION ON BLACK OPS ISN'T HELPING.

I think my funniest moment was when I was playing Trauma Center on the Wii for the first time. I was at a friend's house sleeping over, and it was the middle of the night, and I got sooo invested in the game. At one point my surgery wasn't going well, and my patient was close to death. I shouted out "DON'T YOU DIE ON ME!" involuntarily. Naturally this woke up my friend saying "OKAY!" out of reflex too.

I make sounds with my mouth that is supposed to be talking, but it's more like...shout-mumbling...or something along those lines...

When i saw talking yourself, I mean everything from the under your breath "cheap ass bit@h" to the loud as you can "MOTHER FU@KER!!!".

Whats one of the stranger things you've caught yourself saying while gaming? Something that might make sense in context, but in normal life just leaves you going WTF.

For me it's "Well that's an easy solution: just feed him till he explodes", then I thought "wut?"
I do it all the time, and it doesn't perterb me in the slightest but then I talk to myself normally.

When playing Minecraft, I turned around after emerging from my hiding place after the first night, turned, saw a Creeper right next to me and shouted "Sh*tballs and chips!" before dying.

At least I had something to chuckle about when I went to re-collect my stuff.

One of my friends started a tradition whereby, whilst playing Ninjaball on Halo 3, you must say "Ninjaninjaninja" as often as possible while you have the ball lol...
yeah, we're cool.
Also, playing a local match on Modern Warfare 2 I once announced "Awww yeah, first blood!" immediately followed by "OH GOD, SECOND BLOOD!" as my friend sniped me. :'(

At the rate I talk while playing games, there may as well be another person in the room. I don't do it loudly, but I like pretending it's actually me inside the game.

Not so much talking to myself as talking to the game, and it apparently runs in the family. Unless a plot point hits me as really stupid/brilliant, I tend to complain at the game in the same sense as football/soccer/baseball/etc fans scream at the screen thinking it will get the players to hear them.

"Go that way dammit!"
"No, the other way!"
"Why would you let that guy hit you, are you trying to kill us?!"

It's quite the conversation point when I play local multiplayer with my friends.

EDIT: Forgot the WTF part. Normally, it's either completely unnoticed by me, and most of the people around me as they're use to it, or it leaves me thinking "Can I use that in normal life in polite conversation...?" I talk to myself constantly anyways, so it seems perfectly normal to me, and to everyone who knows me.

Yes, and I just say what's going through my mind, or just offer rather stupid opinions.

Example (while playing Red Dead Redemption)
"Sooo... I got off a train, got shot, met some chick, herded some stupid cows, and now I'm riding to a town called fuckin' Armadillo. God dammit this hor...what the hell I fell off a cliff. Oh hey there's a guy at that camp over- HEY! Why is he shooting me? Well die, *****! Wait, honor? What's that? I lost 50 of it? Hope that's not important....ohh dammit I shot my horse by accident. This game is confusing."
Example (while playing Assassin's Creed II)
"Doo da doo, don't mind the man in the very suspicious robe. I mean, it's not like everybody wears these. These robes are definitely in fashion over in Paris or summat. That's a big discrepancy I'd like to point out in this series. You'd think that after you killed a few people, the guards all over would know what you wear and would figure someone dressed exactly like you might, I dunno, be you?"
