I'll agree with you on the second point there. And no, I wouldn't get the molnija because I'm a deranged immersive fan of V.A. it's just because I like the books. A whole bunch of people get tattoos just because they enjoy certain things. And that's still a reason for getting it. And again no, I meant my personality is like a wolf not my physical habits. Meaning, I might look calm on the outside but it doesn't take much to get me to snap.U235 Is The Bomb said:I wouldn't get a tattoo, purely because I don't think I have a message that is so overpowering that I want to mark it onto my skin. I have met people who have really strong opinions, and they tattoo symbols on themselves to voice those opinions. There was a physisist who tattooed the E8 symmertry group on her back to show her belief in a theory of particle physics.
However, I don't care for tattoos that people get purely for the sake of having a tattoo. I have met people with tattoos of tigers jumping out of their backs, purely for the look of it. And considering that I spent five years of my life in Newquay (a south-British surfing town) I saw a lot of tattoos just like that.
So if you feel strongly that getting the Molnija mark from the Vampire Academy series of books shows your love of that series, then go ahead. Besides, it will show how many Strigoi you killed (I have never read the series, I just learned this from a wiki dedicated to Vampire Academy).
By the way, how exactly are you like a wolf? Do you walk on all fours, hunt deer in packs, and mark your territory against trees? And, if that's the case, why?
I was being a little over-dramatic about being disowned but I still sure as heck wouldn't be met with approval for it.Fiz_The_Toaster said:That's very odd that you might get disowned if your brother already has one.Zhadramekel said:It's a similar thing with me. My older brother has two tattoos but if I got one I'd probably get disowned. Plus I'm not a huge fan of the whole pain thing either.Fiz_The_Toaster said:I don't have one, but if I did get one, I might go with a treble clef or a bar of music. I don't know, I keep changing my mind on what I want if I get one.
I want one but what stops me is my thing with needles, I'm not a big fan of them, but one day I might say 'fuck it' and get one.
I'm not sure if it's the pain part of it, or it's the fact that it's a needle. I don't know why, but I think it might be the fact that it's a sharp pointy object that might puncture me if something wrong happens.
Oh I got what you meant, but I still think it's a little weird. I do get where you are coming from, the minute I turned 18 I wanted to get one, but I thought my dad would kill me if he found out about it, so I thought better of it.Zhadramekel said:I was being a little over-dramatic about being disowned but I still sure as heck wouldn't be met with approval for it.Fiz_The_Toaster said:That's very odd that you might get disowned if your brother already has one.Zhadramekel said:It's a similar thing with me. Is this Newquay, Cornwall? Because I happen to live less than 15 miles away from there!TheLiham said:Dude I totally live near thereU235 Is The Bomb said:I spent five years of my life in Newquay
I used to live in Newquay?! :OU235 Is The Bomb said:And considering that I spent five years of my life in Newquay (a south-British surfing town) I saw a lot of tattoos just like that.
I've been one of those interesting characters!U235 Is The Bomb said:Why, did you live in Newquay too?Dectomax said:I used to live in Newquay?! :O
Yes, I lived there whilst my parents managed a B&B. I used to like living in Newquay, as we were hardly ever farther than a mile from a beach, and the ice cream was great. However, my parents were sensible enough to keep me in after dark, as the town centre soon filled up with... interesting characters. However, most people who came to stay were nice enough people, and I have some really nice memories about living there. You should question me about it some time.
