As most people know, taxes are a big issue in the United States. A lot of people just don't want to raise any taxes. Today, I found <a href=http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/money/tax/article1996735.ece> this article while I was stumbling. For anyone who doesn't want to read it, Warren Buffett basically criticizes the American tax system for taxing him, one of the three richest investors in the world, less then his secretary and cleaner.
I read some of the comments, and one of them stuck me as a not very smart view. Some person said that it's stupid for people who make more to be taxed more because they supposedly are more productive, work harder, and are smarter. This just doesn't make much sense to me. Do people think that the average CEO is over 300 times a better worker then the average person?
That Buffett really works 1200 times as hard as the average person?
