Please, can anyone tell me why Tecmo cares at all about this product? Having sued Mad Catz for this opens up a counter suit against Tecmo for legal fees and damages incurred by Mad Catz. It Tecmo's law suit fails they are screwed.

it's not the product it's the fact that madcatz used the space invaders picture for one of their ad's.

Okay, I get it now. Mad Catz will most likely lose, but for how much? It will most likely not be a large amount of money considering how low the monetary value of 'Space Invaders' is these days. It is a rather insignificant property monetary wise.

I actually sort of believed this when I read your post, but then I saw the unnamed Madcatz employee quote, then clicked on all the sources (the lawsuit summary, the picture of the Irrigator, and the link to buy it) and saw that they linked to a completely different product (just a Boom Chair with the build in speakers and such), and the link to the lawsuit just goes to nothing but a bunch of news links.

So it's definitely fake but man, you made me laugh so hard.
